Any suggestions for a MONSTER to thrash round a field?
Jim Bowen replied to staffs_til_i_die's topic in General Car Chat
Get a sierra, if you can find them now days, will be cheap now, easy to fix etc -
i'm not sure what needs doing, it could end up being loads i want them to look at -subframe mountings -steering rack and column -rear axle mounts -gearbox and engine mounts really just checking out the suspension/steering side of things, and i might get a service done/rolling road tuned while its there its either buy another car and sell corrado, or spend some more to try and get it right

i think i'm going to take car to stealth racing for them to give it a going over. Mainly the handling, is really bugging me now, don't enjoy driving it, can't use the power, almost put it up for sale this week I think i'll have to leave car there, i live over 100miles away and its too far to ask someone to drive me there, do stealth have a courtesy car or something like that  i would phone but it seems like a stupid question as i'm assuming they wouldn't i spose there's always public transport

i think people are being conned  £1k for a wheel without a tyre!!!!!!!!!!! i bet the people who buy them also complain about petrol prices
-
they look really good, are they any different to the ones on M15 VW corrado? something seems different
-
the black bit around the screen is all made by hand
-
is the pond liner staying? or work to be done on the custom dash bit? i had some good pics of a friends one, he made the pod, mount dash bit from fibreglass and it came out pretty tidy
-
don't think i did very well in the last race (monaco), i forgot to adjust my predictions so it just played the same as the last race for me
-
Have you checked the connector on the bottom of the switch? they dont clip in very well and sometimes just shake loose, mine didn't work when i bought it but just needed plugging back in. mine don't work either, never investigated it tho, as hardly ever move them.

i feel angry just from reading it, hope it all gets sorted out. at least you know where their shop is now :D

the front end is pretty easy to get on and off, its just a case of finding all the screws for the slam panel, it all goes back together really well too.

i get to do some corsa spotting in these pics 8) 8)  :cuckoo:

sounds like a problem i had once with an old car and it was due to the timing, a tensioner had come loose, lucky it didn't do anything to the engine could be loads of things, im sure i've heard similar when the cat has collapsed

hi and welcome, you didn't happen to buy it off another Andy did you?
-
i hate parking next to a kerb that is the same height as the floor of lowered corrado, its feels like i'm just rolling out onto the pavement sometimes, then standing up
