i think Goldies is the perfect example of how i think a corrado should be as 100% standard i think they do look a bit strange, sit very high, a bit cluttered and the orange lighting always makes them look a old.
-
looks very nice, but i don't really like the lights myself :( sorry paintwork looks loverly and a fab colour
-
not being rude here, but it is my eyes or is that eyebrow spoiler all over the place, wobbly etc

Satin Silver VR6-Ex OSV-Steering/Suspension overhaul 16/04
Jim Bowen replied to MK1Campaign's topic in Members Gallery
wow, this is fast becoming one of the best around, i love it! i did quite a lot of the front end on mine, but didn't do subframe, rack or mounts. Did you source the rack or did stealth supply that? i still think my probs lie between the steering wheel and rack. did everything else. -
is it worth renewing the bolts for the front, mine seemed ok a bit of surface corrosion anyone know how much the 4 for the front are?
-
WOW, that looks super clean. is it low mileage? shame they sit so high as standard, ruins the coupe look a bit
-
VR6 is right, its all on wikipedia too so must be true
-
i did the same once, but the button had slid to halfway, so not on any mode, and car wouldn't lock but fob would flash. spent ages with the manuals trying to work out what had happened  now i know the alarm quite well
-
extra badges = more weight = slightly slower i'm afraid.. not by much though, although badges on the side create alot of drag Karmann editions are the ones to get
-
yes, three beeps means its activating the interior motion sensor thingymebobs i have mine on 3 beeps
-
Corrado was made at Karmann. some people buy the wolfsburg stuff and stick it on their corrado without knowing did you know Luton is twinned with Wolfsburg?
-

howcome your leads aren't fixed into the grooves?
-
i fitted the same kit and cut the bump stops down, i wasn't going to, but the chap helping me fit it all recommended i did. only cut off about 25mm with a stanley knife, the stops aren't too expensive, i may have a couple spare
-
water pump?
-
mine was alright, no bolts were stuck, none broke and everything seems as it should :) i just didn't see how the splitter bit was attached to the car, just looked as if the splitter was only fixed to bumper, will investigate tonight
-
:( looks like i'll be undoing that again tomorrow then
-
does the splitter need to come off? am sure it doesn't, i took mine off and didn't help the case. at the moment my bumper is off car with splitter and all those nuts attached
-
Coolant problem, more help needed! (with photo's)
Jim Bowen replied to Foxster's topic in Engine Bay
i didn't in the end, i left it for someone else to do :( from what i could see the engine has to move to get access to the bolts on the pulley and i don't have the equipment to do that -
