  1. i've heard of a corsa exclusive
  2. good point, mine has been costing a small fortune most weeks since getting it. luckily i can pinch a van from work so don't get stuck without a car, otherwise i'd be seriously thinking of something else. its not that corrados are unrealible, its just they getting on a bit, all my problems are with small bits that would be on any car, water pumps, wipers, bearings, brakes, exhaust etc etc
  3. http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... &start=180 on bottom of that page 13, then some of the next day on pg 14
  4. they do look high, but next to other cars they still low, its just the gap from arch to wheel that looks a bit funny  i'll get mine lowered one day
  5. mine had two days being valetted by jedi knight on here. Christmas present was my excuse anyway
  6. 1995 VR6, 138,000miles, hardly anything has gone wrong, drives like new (ish), everything works still, but i only had it since august and i'm very unlucky :(
  7. wow, they look really crap, don't suit the car at all
  8. i had one and it stuck for 5yrs without budging, that was using the pads that came with it, make sure you clean everything with white spirits first
  9. corrado seem a bit poor at the 1/4 mile :(
  10. that all seems to work for me :?:
  11. on an old car as the cheapest option i bought a mircoscan unit, that linked up to c/l. but it wouldn't activate alarm :( am sure they make plenty of add-ons tho, not sure, they could be crap  i never had a problem
  12. what bhp/torque is it?
  13. where it says back order next to the VW keyrings, does that mean it'll take a while?
  14. looks amazing what does it drive like being that low?
  15. Wow, i never knew you did that much to them. I must say they feel superb now, totally transformed. Before the treatment they felt dry and a bit like fake plastic leather and i used to slip around in them when going round corners. The rear seats are massively improved, they looked really grey, dry and showed their age. I had worried about the leather cracking and splitting. But now, open the door it smells like new leather again, and they feel more like an animals skin now  Brilliant job, deffo given them a few more years of life imo

  17. how much oil should a VR use, i seem to have to top up at least once a week, probably doing a lot of miles though recentely, maybe 500-600 a week :!
  18. check around the thermostat housing, on the front right corner as you stood infront of engine and about halfway down, has lots of pipes, i could see mine looked white and water stained, and after about 1 week it gave up and was pouring too much to be able to drive it. i got all the blue coolant that was in there flushed out, and replaced with g12+, i didn't wanna mix the two, so just used tap water (but it was warmer then)
  19. a good ending to a bad thread
  20. i have to say that i'm utterly chuffed with what nath has done, driving home tonight felt like i'd just driven out of the showroom in a new car, smelt beautiful. i stopped in a carpark to look at it under the orange floodlights and its looked amazing. a bloke even drove past, bent his neck looking at the car, then a few seconds later he had turned around and pulled in to admire it, he absolutely loved it (he himself had a v.nice bmw 330 something or other) so thanks a lot Nath, you've done yourself proud imo, worth every penny (even if most of it is the boss's):lol:
