:) One might think the same about you Walesy - judging by your signatures 'ready & waiting' pose. ;)

What is the full name of the semi-synthetic VW oil for a VR6
Trig replied to matth76's topic in Engine Bay
Yep it's 'Syntha Silver' and it's 10w40. -

Fitting mk4 handbrake gaitor+TT gearshift/surround

So does anyone know where to get the parts from preferably cheap? -
Jeez, that's a long time. Still, wont be long now and hopefully it'll all be sorted and working properly! Keep us posted.
-
When was the last time you drove it properly working 16v? Bet you miss it, I miss mine if I don't drive it for a week... took her out for a brilliant drive today. :)
-
Erm.. http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=36347 Think it is even the same car.
-
Actually I saw a strange looking camper van at RK Engineering once. It was a bit ratty and had symbols painted all over and loads of stickers. Completely slammed to the ground, pretty much undriveable! You're going to run to the sun then I take it?
-
That is a cool find. 8) Very air-cooled orientated though.

Walesy, ah ok, I get it now.. that splitscreen just looks so knackered I thought it had to be poo. chrishill, I did a two week road trip around California a couple of years ago. We had a Ford Explorer though! Highlight of the whole trip was driving past a huge lorry on Route 66 and doing the 'tug tug' ( ;) ) horn action and him honking back really loud... ah it's the little things. :)
-
Walesy, did see this one in the Cornish Guardian this week...

Yeh me too... surely they must start falling apart after a while?? I like your dream chris, think that's always been a dream of mine too but I only just realised it!

Stealth Rolling Road day in April ;)
-
So Campaign, is it out of the question to ask how much you think you'd get for it were it up for sale? ;) And is it coming to the RR in April?
-
Think about it though. If one came up for sale, I reckon there would be a lot of C enthusiasts wanting it and it would shirly go for more than 10k... Hell, if I sold my C and had 10k lying about and wanted another C i'd buy a Campaign if offered it! :D I don't want to start another debate on what a car is worth/insured value but do you recall the guy who had his Storm insured for an agreed value of £12k?
-
I'd say it'd be worth well over 10k mate! As long as it's in good condition.
-
They are two separate parts. I'm not sure of the exact date of changeover between red & silver but you can put on what you want :) If you're lucky someone may have a grill one lying about that they'll sell you, these are not available from the dealers anymore. I'd keep checking ebay as well, that's where I got mine from & quite cheap because it was advertised as a golf one. The golf badges ARE different, they don't have the black border the Corrado ones have and they wont fit properly!
-
I was thinking that. Campaign, do you know the people who own the others (apart from the 5th). Could it be possible that one or more campaign owners don't realise how rare/significant their car is??
-
Could be seasonal, it is in Padstow & Polzeath.
-
A quick Google tells me that everywhere is selling them with a full lifetime warranty... So you should be able to return them. :)
-
Dude, i'd try a search for this one... Search for 'Grill' in the in the Exterior forum. Try adding in 'FK' & 'Reiger' with it, there are LOADS of threads on this. :)

De-CAT shouldn't be too expensive. Take a look at the Buying Guide for an idea for what to look out for.
