  1. Aaaand you think you'll get a quicker answer by posting it 3 times..? ;)
  2. You have to read the trading guidelines then click the link at the bottom. The ad then goes into a queue to be checked by a moderator and will shortly appear in the FS section. Do that and hopefully someone will delete your other 2 threads...

is that site still updated? i thought someone said they don't sell em, why would people charge £30 for one on ebay if they £5.50 new? No GPC don't sell them anymore and haven't for over a year. ebay or the For Sale section on here is your only options really, hence why they are so expensive on ebay.
  4. Yeah it is a bit fiddly getting some of the rusted connectors off. There is one bit of solid line that's only 2 inches long.
  5. Go on Jim you can do this! I did it a few months back, one year ago I had absolutely 0 mechanical experience. All you need to do is take the wheel off undo a few bolts then hammer in a balljoint splitter, the balljoint will drop off then put the new one on, get the wheel in roughly the right position, tighten everything up. Get your allignment done. One thing I would say is that the BJ splitter I got form halfrauds was no use, it wasn't wide enough to go round the BJ. I spent ages trying to get it to fit and in the end borrowed my neighbours and the BJ came off in seconds.
  6. Well done, will have a go at doing this to mine tomorrow! :)
  7. If you do replace it, you'll be doing well if you can disconnect the solid lines without messing the ends & connectors up.
  8. The bolts take a 9mm or soemthing hex, I managed to snap mine when trying to remove one.
  9. You have to take the entire caliper off as well and often the carrier bolts are seized... I'd change the pads as well.
  10. Why did it fall? Gutted for you mate but fortunate you weren't under it at the time..
  11. I'm sure the owner will be gutted that his Porsche is slightly less than perfect! Looks lovely to me. :)
  12. Yeh they are a bugger without a tool.

I doubt it's the thermal fuse. My guess would be with the dial and contacts. Strange.
  15. The thing that worries me is that if I do get stopped the plates along with my indicators flashing red might be enough to get a prison sentence! I'd get without the D as well infact I think some places (don't know about http://www.germanplates.com) can do a GB with the german lettering.
  16. mtc R32, might be an idea to check otherwise the pic isn't a lot of use! ;)
  17. Looking very nice mate - those splitters cost a fortune! I still really want german plates.
  18. Quality, makes advertising much more fun!
  19. Take it off, Rain-X screen, never look back. ;)
