Most people go for the Redline MT90, it's supposed to be pretty good. Also heard good things about Silkolene Sylktran Syn 5 which is cheaper than the Redline... http://www.opieoils.co.uk

When I did mine I got a local garage to make them up for me using the old ones as templates. If you do that you need to make sure they use the right connectors (convex or concave), they go on before flairing so if they're the wrong ones you'll have to cut the pipe & re-flair it. Other than that it is just plumbing, you can make minor bends to the pipes with your hands. Obviously use copper grease on all connections. I had axel stands on the rear but it becomes quite a tight job when you're clipping them in just down from the engine bay. ;) TBH I found removal considerably more tricky with seized connections.

I'm sure there's an ice cream that looks like that...

It looks a bit bent like Dali drew it or soemthing.. nice though. :)

Good idea for a thread... maybe if we get pics of all of them a mod could prune the thread and lock/sticky it in Exterior? Dragon Green LC6P

Drove past a well modded green one yesterday and I was too late to wave.. Other times i'm quick in there and the other driver is looking at me like a loon.

Both very similar but I prefer RC's.

This should be cool... :) -
Granted, no great increase in horses or torques but for drivability it does wonders (who would have guessed i'd give my 2p!? :) ).

I would say the purple C was designed on one of the 'customise an imaginary car' sites. As far as a 'how to' goes it's pretty simple... 1. Put kettle on 2. Get a very sharp knife 3. Cut off the tatty bits in a nice straight line 4. Drink tea I will get some pics up though...

fla, i'll take some tomorrow and post them up. Like I said though, they will never even draw attention again.

Andy, I have to say - Looks very cool with the black bonnet! :thumbleft: -
Hello & welcome, nice colour :)

That sounds like quite a reasonable price. When you're doing a job like that though there are so many 'oh while i'm at it' jobs that you can add on!

If you're happy with your suspension i'd got for a new ARB, big brakes & charger. :) If you get one of the sub 2k seccond hand chargers (like this one) then you should be able to get brakes & ARB sorted for the other 1k.

AFAIK (And i'm sure one of the valeteers will be along shortly) you should polish then wax. Basically the polish shines it up nicely and the wax seals it all and protects it.

Agreed, the tune fits it perfectly!

Well and truly busted, well spotted Rodders. :)

Thought I had before and after pics but can't seem to find them.. I got up one morning with the idea of cutting them off, I put the kettle on went out the garage and did it then had nice cuppa cha. :) Seriously though, cut off the bad bits with a nice sharp stanley. It looks weird for about 30 seconds then looks much better. After that they'll never even draw your attention again.

Yup, bit of carb cleaner does the trick.
