Lippy, Check kevHaywire's gallery his surround is CC.

Well i'm speaking from experience with Longlife in Plymouth, they were very good. It was custom made as you say, I had the choice of quiet, semi sport or sport; I asked for slightly louder than normal and that was just what I got, infact it just sounds deeper not really louder.
-
And as far as noise is concerned don't worry about it, whoever you choose should be able to tune the exhaust to be as loud or quiet as you want. :)
-
-Neil-, pretty much average i'd say. I paid £285 for my Longlife with lifetime guarantee and a one-off tailpipe.

Welcome to the Forum :) If you want to go fast it's going to use fuel. I drive a VR and it's quick when I want it to but if I drive it sensibly then it's not too bad. To get an idea, I get around 29mpg on my VR when i'm not accelerating fast etc. This can drop to well under 20mpg though.. Pretty much all of the Corrados are fairly high maintainence, G60 needs charger rebuilds every now and again, VR's usually need timing chain replacement at some point in their life. It's not just a car it's a lifestyle ;)

LOL - Yeah. I wouldn't do the headlight surround personally, have seen pics of it done and it looks weird. If you have to do it, just clean it up nice & black :) /2p

IIRC that light doubles up as an indicator to low brake fluid and also (possibly if you have it setup?) your brake pads are wearing low - not sure if G60's got this though... So check your fluid & brake pads. I had this a problem a little while ago, my fluid was fine so I just ignored it and it went away :) As far as the heater is concerned you need to avoid soldering the fuse as the heat can knacker it (something to do with it being thermal ;) ). Crimping is the key I think. Do you have a guide on how to do it, there is one hanging about (try the search). Also, did you order just one thermal fues? If you have a spare can I buy it? :)

I wish they'd do another series of his chat show, one of the best chat shows in recent years. I love his style, as already said he personifies the enthusiasm that everyone feels for the subject. Clarkson for PM! ;)

TBH, this one would be best.. http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=35160

WARNING!!! Corrado RIP Thread - Killers at LARGE!!!
Trig replied to H8RRA's topic in General Car Chat
Think he is refering to the Speedlines (15") i.e. how do they fit over the 312's :) -
Or RW1 (when he's not locked in my cupboard for ease of use ;) ).
-
Not wishing to be classed as a vulture.. but getting my foot in the door! I'd be interested in the brakes as well ;)
-
I would contact 'Storm' if you asked them to do the chains and they only did chain, they need to finish the job IMO.
-
Oh man, sorry to hear about this. Winter seems not to be the prefered time for the Corrado. Glad you are ok. :)

Forgot about this thread.. UPDATE on my above problem.. (you need to read it) Got back from holiday had pretty much forgotten about the problem, re-set the alarm though and turned it off silent, no problems at all. About a week later my girlfriends parents were round, they had been feeding the cat while we were away and they told us the fire alarm in the house had been beeping a low battery warning, thought nothing of it. Couple of nights later the fire alarm starts beeping again (picture this), i'm sitting infront of the TV as realisation kicks in.. OMG it was the frickin' fire alarm (yeh, inside the house!) all along! :x :D Need to get my hearing checked methinks. Ah well.
-
Well the point is, you have to get it professionally done, if info on how to do it youself was flying about then there would be a problem. :)
-
Ok... I might be wrong  Have a look at this link:- http://www.dashtech.co.uk/

I'm not saying you are clocking the car but you are asking for info that would enable someone to clock a car. AFAIK it is illegal to even touch the odometer, i'd contact the DVLA. :|
-
Nice R1.. they really are sexy and stupendously quick, like it in silver & black. A mate was after one but went for a 999 instead, still mental. :)
-
I don't think anyone can answer that, the fourm could get in trouble for broadcasting info advising people on how to clock their car, which is illegal. EDIT: If you want to sort it i'd contact the DVLA and see what they say.

At last some pics - new pics with borbets/coilies
