Taken the car off the road for a month (at least), i've been given my bro's pug 205 to drive so I thought i'd treat the C to the garage for a while and keep her out of the cold and rain! Nice to not have to pay the car tax right now as well! Anyway, while she's in the garage it gives me a chance to do a few jobs that I can take my time over. Started off easy today and de-wipered the rear, read a few threads on this and seen a few pictures, much prefer the look of no wiper & I hardly ever used it anyway. Job took me 10 minutes max, the hardest part is getting the motor out, involves a lot of twisting until you get the right angle! So here are some before and after pics, I took a few pics do I could do a 'how to' guide eventualy but it's a pretty simple job so i'm not sure if its really neccessary..? EDIT: Still need to go to Halfords and get a set of rubber bobbins to plug the hole.

Yep, brakes to stop it again may be another thing though... ;)

One of those things that you don't use unitl you really need it (ironing board?). I've never had my ABS light come on, apart form when starting her up. I have been in cars when the ABS has kicked in though and there is no doubt it does a good job. :)

Sounds more like it. 80bhp sounds very low that means the charger is almost doubling is power output. :?

Ah.. of course, Norway. Why do you have to pay £7k in taxes?? (sorry for being thick)

Valid point dinkus, forgot about that little issue. If the key isn't turning after that then it's more likely to be the barrel rather than the switch though isn't it?

£9000 for a VR?! 30k Storm perhaps? :) With prices the way they are at the moment you could get a sub 100k VR with leather etc. probably in excellent condition. Keep an eye on the For Sale forum mate, loads of bargains to behad! ;)

Your unlucky your nice G60 hasn't got it as standard mate, think there were supply problems.. Which car are you breaking?! I have no idea what kind of difference the ABS will actualy make but you could sell the pump instead, they cost a LOT for VAG. ;)

Oh and there is this Corrado Forum wiki article:- http://www.the-corrado.net/wiki/index.p ... ion_barrel :) Hope that helps

Try a search mate, it's been covered a lot before as it is a commmon problem. Take a look at this thread, long discussion on how to replace the switch etc. http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4495 You could also go for a 'push button' start, guide to install of that here.:)

http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=33887 That any help?

Yeh I clicked the link then couldn't be bothered to download it!

Yeh would be a crazy idea, bit like trying to change your video player in to a DVD player. :)

Nice idea but it's very unlikely that Haynes would be bothered about printing a manual for a car that is no longer in production. There aren't many Corrados left either (4500? estimate) and of the ones left only a small percentage of owners would actualy buy the manual (most already own the Bentley one). Haynes could expect to sell 1000 max, not worth it in there eyes I would imagine ;) . ..Still be fun though!

LOL i'm not gonna bother d/l it, it's the one where the boot gets ripped off! :)

Random Clarkson Line: "For the purpose of this test I shall ignore my prejudices, you see I think a Ferrari is a scaled down version of...God" :)

The plastic box thing sitting behind it is the silencer and it is normal for it to hiss.

You can get an owners manual off eBay for a fairly good price, I would imagine they are for sale on US eBay.

This one does though!
