WTF? Have you turned your Corrado into a time traveling Delorean Greeny?!

Flat spot in low revs and slight increase in tappet noise

Took some of his fuel out?! -
I've got the cheap ones  They are good though. :)
-
Yep, with it up there should be less 'rear end wiggle'. I does look better down but the 'going up & down' is part of the Corrado and I wouldn't change it. Certainly wouldn't have it up all the time.. :)
-
I'm all up for originality but i'm not liking that one. The headrest (notice the lack of plural) looks like it's been pulled from a rabbit hutch and the vents are hideous.. sorry :|
-
Thanks for the tip potatonet, I did read that on another thread. :) I've bought a selection of rubber grommets form halfords now, 19mm one did the trick, 20m would have been perfect. Blob of mastic and it's all done. Decided not to colour code it, it'd look a bit naff I think.

Early Corrados had the spoiler go up @ 45mph, later ones 54mph. Not exactly sure of the changeover date but if you do a search it'll be there. I agree with the spoiler looking a bit silly up when the vehicle is parked, but I haven't seen many pics like that...

I don't think they cut in until you oil has heated up properly..?
-
You can use dynamat hoodliner instead (silver shiny stuff), just buy it and cut it to the right shapes :)
-
You can get it from VAG. It's a bugger to get off though. Try a search ;)
-
No Haynes don't. Bentley do a Corrado manual, availabale from amazon.com or eBay etc. but it's not cheap. :)
-
Jay uses Porsche seats and they look awesome see this link, or this months PVW ;)

Some lovely lovely cars and they cover a nice broad range of different ideas and ways of looking at the Corrado. Again no disrespect to the others (and I haven't even seen any of these cars in the flesh!) but my vote is for kev's, i'm sure Jay's and Lee's will get plenty of votes from others though so there you go! :) There'll be a proper poll in the NY though hey?

It looks like I'm gonna be hanging around here a lot...

Nice! I'll have the RC's please :) Looks like you need to drop her a bit mate? -
No, replacing the pipes or ISV is all pretty easy. Do a search on it.
-
Not keen, looks like its going to fall over backwards! It doesn't look as good as a Corrado, just more 'curvy' IMO. :-P

Is there such a thing? I thought that all the people who had relocated the no. plate got a bodyshop to tidy up the area where it should be. :? -
I think (and this is only from my own observations) if you get out of the car at night after having the heater on and its still hot in the car then you will get major condensation in the morning (because windows are cold overnight, vapour condenses). I always try and cool down the inside of the car before parking, wind the window right down for the last minute or two or something. Prevention is the best cure. :)

The spoiler is up in that pic. The top one looks very cool IMO. :D

Corrado Spotting! Was it you? [Archive December 05]

Dark Green (Classic?) 'M' Reg Valver coming off the A30 roundabout towards Truro today @ 2.30ish. I was in my Girlfriends black Ford Ka. :) -
I'm sure it moves very well but aesthetically i'm not that keen on it. Looks like a lot of money has been spent but Corrados don't need blingy paint jobs etc. IMO they can rely on just looking cool anyway. Don't like thte intake things on the front wings and I really don't like the wheels.. :| As I say though I bet it moves pretty fast :)

Where did his post go?!
-
Ah... I see... I knew that.

Hang on a sec, is it only blasting out cold air or is the dial/slider not moving (jammed)?
