Yeh but he's 195. :)
-
Mine have black backing and I paid about £50 I think... did you make any attempt to get the lager out?!
-
I love the speedlines but I would swap them for some BBS RX's or RC's! The Corrado does look great lowered on speedies.
-
My girlfriend calls it 'Lovin' the Corrado'. She looks out for people staring or double taking and she says 'Ooh he/she's loving the Corrado'... I am of course not an attention seeker either... :)

Jim, that almost brought a tear to my eye.. :) I always check over my shoulder when I park, sometimes twice. Everyday of Corrado ownership is like the first day, lots of love, very protective.. oh and a new problem every day as well ;)

This thread has lots of chat about it..

I got mine from http://www.justmatz.co.uk , highly recommended. Mine are black with green stitching and a white corrado logo and they look great. I only got a hole on the drives side, there is a screw in knob bit that it fits onto and I get no movement at all. You can have extra padding wherever you want etc.

WARNING!!! Corrado RIP Thread - Killers at LARGE!!!
Trig replied to H8RRA's topic in General Car Chat
All very true. I have taken to hiding my car in the garage for a month or two! Mostly because I have another car to drive that is cheap and reliable, but all these murders make me glad my baby is locked away! And it isn't just Corrados, I live in a pretty quiet rural town in Cornwall and I see bashed up calls and accidents all the time! Some idiot in an escort pulled out of a junction straight infront of my mum in her landrover td5 t'other day, guess who came out worst off! :) -
Somewhere around 40-45lb I reckon :)
-
Be careful if your planning on using them on the open road though.. http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=33483 :)

Welcome to the forum, nice avatar ;)

Jim, I agree. He just kept saying it was really fast but we never actualy got a speedo shots or anything. Also a shame that Clarkson didn't get a proper insurance quote!
-
What an awesome car, looked a lot cooler than the pics I have seen, smaller as well. £5,000,000 to make one pretty good value for money. Clarkson is so lucky to drive that but I was on the same thinking as him, I'll never get to own one! Having said that I was grinning the whole way through the show! :D

I think Lee would chrome his cornflakes if he could ;) It'll be easier upkeep once its chromed I believe, just needs a wipe over.
-
It looks like I'm gonna be hanging around here a lot...

Welcome to Corrado ownership! :) Sounds like you got a pretty good deal there, you're obviously very excited about it! Be sure to put up some pics of it when you pick it up! 8) -
Failing that, new lenses?
-
Oh only the fastest production car in the WORLD!!! Really looking forward to this as well :D

g60greeny, I didn't use masking tape. That silver stuff thats on there will come off very easily. Just a bit of black paint, good paintbrush & a steady hand is all that's needed ;)

post whore??? err...? What do you mean?

More info on the Supercharged VR6 Thread, page 34 onwards. Basically OBD2 is just a different way of managing your engine, diagnostics etc. If there is nothing wrong with what you've got it's not worth changing TBH. As the doc said, parts are fairly cheap (second hand) but you will be forking out a fair deal in labour costs for someone to do it.

24V Renshaw - 24V V6 - Just read the whole thread!!!!

Well at the moment we don't know what the gain will be like on N/A. The reason i'm doing it is because my OBD1 ECU is knackered anyway, and to replace (with a new one) would cost the same as the OBD2 conversion & parts. Second hand ECU's are few & far between. OBD2 is the obvious route, more measuring blocks in VAG-COM and a more modern aproach to engine management. I think kev got considerable improvements changing to OBD2 with his supercharged VR6, I hope to get improvements too but I don't think anyone has done it before on a standard VR6. bigpants baby has all the parts waiting for me apart form the throttle body which I am still on the lookout for.
