I have seen rims worse than that repaired, but guess it depends if it has cracked etc... I saw a post about wheel refub places somewhere ill see if I can still find it. They look worth it tbh.

That’s why I got a corrado, just couldn’t go back to sciroccos after I killed my pried and joy!! But they are still mint cars, better looking than C’s I think. Word of warning though don’t lower it to much or you will screw up the handling.. I ended up with -60 even though I ordered a -40mm kit. The wish bones sat at a negative angle and it was well skiddy (till the wall!!). Best be stickint to around -40mm max I would say….

I miss my gt2... Those weber carbs are worth every penny Keep up the good work!

don’t think that an SRI is much over 150 bhp.... so I don’t think so... Even if he was pushing out 190 his car must be much heavier.. As for r32 beating I think its easily possible, most people that drive both don’t think that there is much in it and the raddo must be a tad lighter/more aerodynamic than a 32...

I think the white plastic bit only fits one way round on the mfa, so if you haven’t touched the pink bits (oh er!) the it should be fine... You should be able to see if they line up, on the glass of the screen you will see lips with really faint contacts, the pink rubber things are just conductive strips the connect to the printed contacts on the board.
-
@ Flusted. I would say that the pink rubber bits are in the wrong way round or not touching the contacts correctly. Try lightly pushing the screen down and see if anything comes on..

flippin heck! Must have been running really lean to do that! Out of interest which cylinder was it?

very nice indeed mate... Nice colour too..

I did this on Sunday night, you need to remove the top bit of film - its on the very front of the screen. then actually turn it over so the side that had glue on faces you (away from the screen). If the screens are not working than I would check the bits of pink rubber are flat and touching the contacts on both the pcb and the screen. Also check you have them in the right sides (the bigger screen only has one side with contacts, the bottom). hth P.s what are people using to get the blue? mine is rather greeny blue but the red has worked a treat

Hi Guys, Well its not all bad news today as my rado passed her MOT 8) But I was advised that there is some movement on the drivers side wheel due to the steering rack. Does anyone have a picture of the joint of the tie rod to the rack? Or is it a complete unit and I will bee needing a new rack? Cheers chaps

i also like the kit, only thing i would do is have normal front lights and get rid of the pointless stuff like bonnet catches etc..

Hi guys, I have just found one of the company cars (Its a 1.8 mk4) has had its front splitter/spoiler knocked off by the frequent abuse it gets from the various people that use it (lack of respect :? ) I then noticed ‘said’ splitter in the skip outside of work so I decided to acquire it as is obviously not needed any more and still in good shape. So my challenge is to try and fit it to my Corrado! Looks like it should fit with a bit of work and since it’s free I just can’t resist…. What you think??
-
im gonna try that whole kr inlet cam thing....
