    My drivers side belt is the same DanVW. It's annoying having to help it back in everytime. Think i will ring the stealers in the week and see how much it will be too. Anyone know what kind of job it is like to change ?

    Thanks for the heads up on this issue, I agree that we expect it to be right after the so called "experts" have applied their trade to something, i always check everything that has been done by someone else, to the best of my ability (and my wifes' chagrin!!!|) anyway.....problem is it's just a job to some folk and they don't show the care and attention needed all of the time which we expect for our babies :lol:

    Hi all, My mate is mirror polishing his spare G60 rocker cover for me to have, he has half of it done and looks brilliant...but he's not sure how much to charge me for it and i have not got a clue what to pay him for it ...what would be a fair price do you all think ? Cheers Chris.

    A mate of mine is doing me a mirror polished rocker cover for my G60, he has done half of it and it looks brilliant....but we both have no idea how much i should be paying him for it, what do you think is a fair price for it ?......It's his spare rocker cover by the way, not mine that he is polishing.     The pipe is simple to fit G60_91. straight on with the lambda probe.......You may need to swing on the lambda probe to get the old one off if it's been on a while, little b******s to get out sometimes.

    Easy to get at, I used a blob of no more nails and let it set overnight.. perfect now.

    Agree, get a genuine one and then see how you go, any probs within the 2 year warranty and you get a new one free.

    Hi all, Just done a full service on my G60 and was wondering if it was worth changing the coil for a new one ? no idea how long it's been on and i've never changed it in the 3 years i've had it.

    Yes, £68.00 from the dealers...... it's worth getting the original one because if it packs up before two years is up you can get a new one free, plus your local vw dealer will fit it free !!

    Yeah i don't think it's a good idea to do the whole rooflining with fluid just the oil smudges as in the first post, but for getting any marks off the head lining-carpet-seats, fluid is just the ticket.

    A gentle wipe with the lighter fuel is all it usually needs, obviously something a bit more ground in might need a little scrubbing, I use the 133ml fluid, ronsonal, swan and the like. My five year old son got some fresh tar on his feet on a hot day and managed to get it on the back of the passenger seat, that came off straight away with the fluid. :thumbleft:
