  2. A month for Khurrado is about the going rate it seems Johnboy98 (thats if you get it at all !) I bought a piece of interior trim from him which took well over a month to come and lots of emails, what a carry on.......never again.
  3. Oh happy days ! Oh happy days !
  4. :fist: ....Go Go.....Fooooooook....Insane pull away...... Brilliant.
  5. Yes as davidwort says the original spring clips give the right pressure to the hoses, many a disaster has happened with jubilee clips on water hoses....... including me :( ....the housing that holds the blue & black temp sensors broke off on me doing 120 mph because the jubilee clip was too tight.
  6. Very nice pics....good work.
  7. Cracking question chap..........I should imagine most of us think the corrado is the most aesthetically pleasing car to the eye bar none & quick to boot (my opinion anyway  ) very few cars float my boat the way the corrado does and i think it just gets under ya skin you know. A friend of mine bought a brand new nugget yellow G60 in 1991,i Could not get my breath it just well and truly bowled me over but i just could not afford one at that time, 22k.... jesus my house was only 17k in 1991......so I sort of pushed my crush to the back of my mind for about 10 years - even though every time i saw one i drooled :luvlove:. I did'nt see one for for about 3 years, i don't get out much (no seriously i did'nt get out much !!....i spent more time on the snooker table than the cloth !! ).....then i followed a VR6 home from work one night and googled it the minute i walked in and became a man on a mission to buy one from then on. Luckily a friend of a friend was selling his G60 cheap so i snapped his hand off. I'm as excited about taking it for a drive 3 years on as i was when i drove it for the very first time and will never sell it ! Wow that was a long post (sorry)........ thats my attachment right there people
  8. Very well said sir............. Organised legal meets are apparantly ok according to a couple of police friends i have. Us corrado boys & gals will be ok.
  9. Gutted for ya pal, i despair of people sometimes...Hope you dont go around there and they say bugger off it was never reported !!!... I've known that to happen, Get it sorted sooner rather than later....... Some twatter took half the side off my missus's yaris a couple of weeks ago in a hospital car park and actually sanded it completly off, massive sand paper swirl marks....you have to see it to believe it.
  10. Cheers Jim.....Cheers dirtytorque. :thumbleft:
  11. Anyone ? Please help....was hoping to do this today while we have a bit of nice weather. Cheers Chris.
  12. Thanks IHIG60. Anybody know about cleaning the inside of the unit ? Thanks in advance Chris.
  13. Hi all, Done a search but can't find anything on this subject. I have my front bumper off for respraying so i thought it might be a good idea to clean the intercooler, is it worth taking off to clean out ? and will it improve the efficency of it ? and how do you get to the jubilee clip on the back pipe ? Cheers Chris.
  14. Hi steve, Yeah i've just rung a friend at my dealers and he says lambda probes have gone up in price !!! £122.00 for all models now. mine was nearly half that a year and half ago.....but remember if the original one packs up within the 2 year warranty period vw will supply and fit a new one free.
  15. Thanks leon, but i said fittable grills without modification, thanks VR6 but that thread is on FK alone which we know doesn't fit early models without modification........I was thinking along the lines of - Mattig Jom Rieger Kamei Plus any other makes i have missed. Thanks Chris.
  16. This subject seems to be a nightmare. Trying to decide between what does and doesn't fit early/late models. I'm after a badgeless grill myself for an early G60, but after a couple of hours searching posts i'm none the wiser. Could someone in the know please put into words all the makes that will fit which models nicely, without modification and regardless of aesthetics. I think that would be a massive help to a lot of people on this forum. Many thanks Chris.
  17. Welcome aboard. I still love my c as much now if not more after nearly 3 years. I guess you expect a few probs from a 12-17 year old car. I'm sure you will carry on loving it for many a day. Take care of her (and that jag next to it )
  18. Those wheels really suit the car, as do the clear rear lights.......think i will look into some of those lights for mine. Great looking car ...nice work.
  19. The man wanted an opinion so i gave him one. 2p's worth or a quid.
