    Hi all, I've Just bought some dealer touch up paint/lacquer....i was talking to someone a while back and they said that they mixed a couple of drops of each together and then applied it....thoughts ?

    I was talking to a car detailer yesterday and i mentioned the under bonnet foam on carrado's being expensive or not available and he said he swears by this stuff http://www.noisekiller.co.uk he's had it on his car over three years and looks as good now as it did when it was new,its self adhesive with no coming off problems. Worth looking into if your after some under bonnet soundproofing.

    I will agree with that too. remember the dealer lambda is guaranteed for 2 years, any probs in that time and they will check it, replace it and actualy fit it free !. and its guaranteed for another 2 years.

    Barstewards.. Do all three, Chocs for witness..... Visit the person, not to give him a slap but tell them your not happy with what he did.....iv'e done it twice and the embarressment is priceless. Sort it with police & insurance company. Good luck with it.

    Anybody used Poorboy's trim restorer yet ? It's very good, not greasy and doesn't streak when it rains, Iv'e tried everything going but this one does what it says on the tin (or bottle in this case) about £8.49 from ebay....I really recommend it .

    Very sad news.. A idol of mine together with barry sheene....all those years doing one of the most dangerous sports and dies in a helicopter crash. I feel for his wife to losing a son at the same time. :(

    Hi dubrado, I have recently used the new Dodo juice carnauba wax, the best wax i have used to date, great shine and protection..... Autoglym super resin polish,then Autoglym extra gloss protection and finished with dodo juice.... i'm sure your red rad would look great with that combo. have a look on here. http://www.dodojuice.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=111

    Lovely, thanks for the reply herisites. Yes the Dodo juice gets a good read up.... there are a few flavours. rain rorest, lightfantastic,orange crush,banana armour (bananarama) and purple haze..think i'm going to hold out for the ratatouille & pineapple :lol: .

    That will be £78.50 sir..... :lol: I'm just about to order some wax off ebay but can't make my mind up which one !..... either victoria concours, collinite 476s or collinite 915s ? My G60 is aqua blue so i thought AG Super Resin Polish then AG Extra Gloss Protection then one of the above waxes to finish. Does that sound ok ? Cheers Chris.

    Hi dobbo and welcome to the forum, There are lots of threads on this subject just put "lambda" in search and have a quick read up pal. You can check to see if it's working by using a volt meter, If it is kippered my advise would be to get a new one from vw because if it packs in again inside the 2 years warranty vw will change it and fit it free .     Thought i would get some new calipers at that price, I phoned VW this morning and they want £149.00 for a pair of front G60 calipers ?....£40 Back with exchange so £109.00 total.
