    Thanks for the replies guys...My m.o.t chappie is quite strict to be fair, he actually said "i always try and find something wrong with it because i know your fussy !" yeah righto pal...i'm not that fussy :) Daves16v ...I want a look at your VR sometime soon :)

    Took the car yesterday for the m.o.t and passed without any advises for the 5th year running ! :D Happy days.

    Lighter fluid on a cloth.... perfect for the job.

    depends on the deepness of the scratch....machine polish with menzerna and steady as you go until removed...deeper ones can still be removed but you may see a slight bow in the acrylic.

    Richardshoes... I had it made from scratch at a place near where i live, pinpoint fitting and really quiet. :clap: i love it. blackrado1.....     As i've said before, yes it's dearer to buy lamda probes from the dealers but if you have a problem with it it guarenteed for two years. i'd rather have that personaly.

    i also wouldn't change from goodyear eagle F1's DSG3.(make sure they are german made) 5 years of driving the g60 (hard on accasions) and not a single flap. not interested in anything else- Tried/trusted. :thumb right:

    I've decided to take the personal reg plate off (as it wasn't personal to me) and go back to the original registration of the car. i think people will appreciate the condition relating to the year a little more ( i think :) ) i like it better :grin: ...i'm really pleased with the G60 now and think it's pretty much immaculate...it only took me nearly 5 years ! :clap: This car will never leave my ownership now.

    Are you trying some of the foam david ? i must admit i would rather have it black but....nearly three years on and the noisekiller still looks brand new on mine :D

    If you can't get any of the vw dealer lube (looks maybe yes/maybe no) white grease will be perfect.... i fixed my sunroof 6 months ago and it operates really smooth with the white grease.

    I weight all my slot cars....a bit of lead here and there keeps them on the track nicely in the quick corners :grin:

    Hi All, Standard G60 Tyre pressure is... 36Back/41Front... I personally think after 5 years of driving it thats a bit high, especially on the fronts. What do you run with / find good for handling / tyre wear etc-etc ? I know this topic has been covered a few times but not with alot of opinions, if you own a G60 please please add your input to the thread. Vbr, Chris.

    Go round a left hand corner fairly quick, if it knocks it's def the dampner/weight...I had it on my G60 a few years ago.
