looked like a loverly VR i would have thought that her insurance company will try to write it off and offer you a insulting amount for it ( seems to happen far too much ) not to sure where you stand on this but if she is accepting responsibility for the accident i would be very firm with the insurance company and insist that they repair it.

yea you need 2 driver's side arms, part number is 6x2 955 410c not sure why they would be juddering tho, might be worth just giving your wiper blades and windscreen a clean with some detergent :?:

its not til march :-) i'm just sorting accom in sligo for the wrc stage this year but yeah the grp b cars were much better , reckon i'll have some of that come march :-) yeah i know :lol: but the more notice i give the less chance there is that my company will cancel it :x

Well got the head off today nothing there that could tell me why it went as far as i could see. so the plan of action is.. Crack test the head Skim the head flush out the block incase of any blockages put it back together with all VAG parts Would it be worth getting a metal headgasket ?? Any know where i could get one from gasket from ?? Any thing else i should do while im there ?? Thanks :(

This one and the last one have gone in the same place (between 2 and 3) not running hot Had it pressure tested last time and came back fine AFAIK. Should have the head off in the next few days so ill know exactly what the damage is.

Need some advise just blown another head gasket over the weekend after only have it done 15k ago :x , could there be a underlying problems that are causing this?? If I do decide to repair it would a metal head gasket ect.. help stop it from happening again?? Any advise would be much appreciated :cry: Oh and is there a max number of times you can skim a head ??

I have a spare alloy that i kerbed quite badly :oops: and was thinking about getting it refurbished so ill have a full set of 5 again. is it possible?? or do you think it would it be better / cheaper to buy a new one ??

a bit of moisture has got in to one of the relays on mine and stopped the low beam from working. anyone got a part number for a new one?? theres nothing on the one that ive got Steve
