  1. You should have switched the machine on, just to see wot happens to the turd
  2. How comes the 20vt graph lines dont cross?
  3. I think that's bordeaux red, and I'm sure I saw that car for sale (exact same pic) about 18months ago..
  4. Here's some more from an old VW Motoring mag: http://www.golf.homechoice.co.uk/corradoPics/campaign-1b.jpg http://www.golf.homechoice.co.uk/corradoPics/campaign-2b.jpg
  5. Loose vacuum hose (at back of clocks), or faulty sensor (that the hose is attached to) - which VW price at around £130 :|
  6. I cant believe no-one's even mentioned the chaos of trying to leave last year's GTI International! Absolute hell! No organisation whatsoever, took 1 and a half hours to go about 3 miles back to the motorway.
  7. http://www.performancevwmag.com/classifieds/ads.asp?catid=9&cat=Corrado&adtype=s&c=United+Kingdom  What an abomination!
  8. Looks a beauty, I've been after a VR6 in that colour, though none ever seem to come up for sale :( You fancy selling me yours? :D
  9. I've got something similar, rear wiper doesnt do a full sweep, etc. The motor seems to do just over half a turn, instead of a full revolution (1 sweep left then right) and so it parks oddly. I replaced it with 2 other motors that I know work perfectly, and it didnt solve it. I also changed the rear wiper relay with several other ones and that didnt fix it either :x Its doing my head in! The only thing i can think of was that I had to take the steering wheel off some weeks before all this started happening. (I had to replace those damn dash bulbs) Maybe I nudged a wire loose on the wiper stalk or something, but I doubt it. A mate of mine said it might be an earthing problem, although I've no idea how i'd check if that was the case
  10. Yeah thanks for that, I realised that 10mins after I posted  But they do go all scabby, or 'furry' as you put it.. My bro in law's Estorils suffered that after he got em polished like mirrors
  11. Wont they rust without the laquer? :? I had similar wheels and the guy at the refurb. shop told me not to get em done! He said they'd out live the car in their original state, but removing the lquer would kill em within 12 months
  12. He must've told the judge he was funding his expensive corrado habit
  13. Yeah thats it, he was working for VW and apparantly stole a bunch of engines? Now hes banged up - or so the rumour goes.
  14. I remember hearing rumours about the cars owner - something like he's in prison, or got done for fraud.. I'll have to find the story :? Lovely car tho :D

    Rust spots

You'll never get a 100% perfect match -yes I know the paints are measured out on computer, but you will always be a minute fraction off, and it usually shows in different light conditions. Also, new paint on a car looks different to the older paint, which has been exposed to sunlight etc.
  17. I'm sure GPC sell em for about 30% less than VW..
  18. I've got a clip of that car's boot - the wheel spins to some deep bass music
  19. Whats the difference between 'protected no claims' and 'guaranteed no claims' ? I asked the monkey at HIC when I needed renewal, and he said its the same thing :? Although I think he was just saying that cos he didnt actually know :)
  20. If you take the plastic cover off to reveal the rear wiper motor, you should see a long metal arm connected to the motor - most likely the arm didnt move but the motor still tried to spin. So the arm is probably out of alignment with the motor. Unscrew the nut that connects the arm to the motor, then manually move the wiper + arm to its normal resting point. Then re attach the arm & nut to the motor Now cross your fingers and pray it works
  21. BBS Solitudes? :? Look like speedlines to me :)
