  1. Sure am, was just coming on here to post my next one - so look out for it and yes all welcome

  2. Well that was different and new venue for me. Also thanks for the Evening prior entertainment and B & B hospitality from Jude and Kip. It was nice to meet a few new faces and have a proper chat too. As for Elsecar, well it needs to be further South, that was serioulsy cold and resulted in several of us leaving around mid-day. Well we were there at 8.30am !!!! Three hours later after arriving home, I think I have thawed out. Would someone kindly remind me though - as I barely drink, to not then try, red wine followed by Tia Maria then Port on top of an Indian Meal. Yes, I know should know that, but was having fun and seemed a good idea at the time. !! :D My stomach is seriously not happy and I have not eaten since breakfast. I still have the sausage butties - untouched as yet. Back to Elsecar, was surprised by the location of the venue but actually thought it worked well with the steam engine and station platform as a backdrop. Some interesting and very different cars to view.
  3. I think this years event was made for me - 'Goodwood is honouring one of the world’s most versatile and popular sports cars – the Porsche 911 - with the main ‘Central Feature’ at the 2013 Festival of Speed.' Oh Yes !!! Can't Wait.................
  4. To be perfectly honest - It will probably lead towards a bit of both, dependant on my personal and work diary commitments !! Well, only fair I reckon if I am organising them !! :D
  5. Thanks Fay I went for abit of a drive earlier along some of the very country roads around here earlier and had to turn back the snow drifts in some areas are really deep and cover the whole road. One thing tackling these in daylight -which I did a few, quite another of a dark evening. So much for thinking I would swop back to Summer Tyres come April - not really looking that way for the time being. I will get round to offering a meeting point further South soon. Look forward to catching up with you too Fay and other Corrado owners of course !!! :D
  6. Or Bacon and Stilton even ? :D Yum yum !!
  7. Apologies to everyone - for cancelling tomorrow evenings get together. Having driven around more today, there are quite a few snow drifts, plus the temperatures are not going to rise to make it much better and the wind is still up So rather than put anyone at risk, cancelling seems the best option. Roll on for Spring weather in April.
  8. Just arrived back after a week away, so weather bit of a shock, few snow drifts etc on main route from Banbury to mine. Will update Tuesday morning on Road conditions locally, think anyone with winter tyres would be fine anyway though.
  9. Ouch !! I Hope you are Ok and glad you are fixing the Corrado and not giving in Being in Oxford, you coming to the Monthly Meets - this Month - at Shennington - North Oxford near Banbury. Would be good to meet the folk nearby.
  10. No sorry, don't know. Village roads and narrowish country lanes to get there. With recent rains and lack of kerbs might be muddy though.

  12. Will have to watch this, sounds interesting. There are a few Capri's round these parts of late, one car I always wanted and never had the 2.8i Capri - umm what was its name ? Renouned for loosing its back end - well like most !! Best I did was the Mk 1 XR2, fitted the bill nicely at the time. As mentioned above - all these silly money now.
  13. And me, done it twice this Winter to huge embarrasment and enjoyment of others. Things like this are good to remind you to not do it again. I should be fine now for the next 3 years. !!! Years ago, someone said Halfords sold a buzzer that can be fitted, obvioulsy my memory is too good to possibly need to go along that route - Not !!! :D Or, is it I am too tight ? ! Umm !!!
  14. Is this an English spoken forum ?? Lol ie in my book - means for example !!!!
  15. See - all these techie guys - when just a bit of straight thinking logic is required............... lol Think I will sign out now - before I get the backlash !!! :D Hope its a simple resolve - like just the battery.
  16. Try another battery and see what happens ? At least this will tell you if this is the battery or not.
  17. Just rubbish, no helping some folk !!! :D
  18. Chris - Will you edit your heading on this thread please. IT has bugged me since you started it and I have so nearly ripped the michael several times. Or, do you own Carrado's and its just the rest of us that own Corrado's !!!! :D Love you !!!
  19. What a nice way to start a Sunday morning. In heaven at Silverstone, parked up surrounded by Nobles and lots of other good marques. Shame about the fog putting off Track play until 10.45 and very cold. Good walks around the Car Park admiring all the metal and glorious sounds of 911's on Track Just Heaven. Oh and good meeting up with Jim, Harrier and Portent - nearly forgot !!! :D
  20. Well, It certainly as the right winter to have purchased Winter Tyres. They are certainly being put to the test. I also have driven on them enough during this wet and white winter to finally have built up my own confidence in them. However, yet again it seems the weather forecast is inaccurate. We have snow here and its coming down quite heavily and settling. This area can hardly be called 'The North' which is where I thought the snow was due. Annoyingly I have got to get to work tomorrow, so now sledging until the weekend, by which time no doubt it will be gone.
