Guys, Good to catch up and also meet some new faces too. Was amazed only took 35 minutes to get home on this new found route to Northampton and I was cruising only - honest. ! Fantastic stretches of road, will be doing those again in daylight. So where next, I am thinking possibly to the West side of Coventry/Banbury...........

It sure does, only due to trying to accomodate Corrado owners in differing areas. You may even find in future months one that is closer for you. I also expect to do some daytime meets in warmer months.

I stopped just over a year ago, also cold turkey. Everyone I know using these after a year or two is still using them, so in my mind could easily go back to smoking as they have not kicked the habit, it appears just healthier - for now at any rate, but. I think there is already rumblings these are bad for you

I am understanding more, thanks for the education guys. I had no idea the Audi of similar stying/performance had that much of a price differential. Throwing it into a different thought pattern..... So, if you really have got to drive something dull (I am so sorry everyone :D), then yes, make it interesting and fun. Guess you are looking out of it when driving then and not at it too. !! Hence the 'wolf in sheeps clothing' comments here Which in fairness is like my house. That not pretty to look at, but I look out of it. I personally still have to like the look of it - its a car, they have to be desired by their looks. :D Very lame and shallow - I know !!!

I am loving having no condensation in the car. These work brilliantly. Very pleased with purchase.

Fair enough and I do not know the market sufficiently to then comment. I still would have to love the way it looks though and this really does not float my boat. The Audi range of similar, sports estates are by far more attractive to me. Actually I think I would still keep the Corrado for me time and then buy some dead ordinary as a utility vehicle. Good job we are all different and yes our needs too to meet our individual circumstances.

OK, What am I missing ?? I don't get it at all. Are you guys saying this car really is better looking than a Corrado? My view on cars, is I have to the love the exterior look first - before I even can be tempted further and there is no way that car looks in the slightest bit where I would give it a 2nd look. If it drove past me, sounding a dream or I had watched its performance then yes, I would give it a 2nd look then. But until then - complete No go for me !!! Sorry !! :-)

I would be leaving the kids, wife and dog at home and staying in a Corrado !!! Sorry !! :D

Really good to see so many folk interested in joining us. Please Remember, I need to know if you are Eating and then how many. (Twice now I nearly did not book to eat and we very nearly went hungary - it seems to be more a numbers thing than table space in some places). Eating I believe will be in the BAR, as Bar Menu, so should be plenty of space - hopefully !!! :D

I looked at these a while back as I too like the look of them. Took one out for a Test drive - drove fine and pretty much as expected, but dull, could have been a number of different non descript vehicles. Lacked Soul or Spririt and next to no feedback. Was majorily dissappointed.

Jake - in your final paragragh, have you not answered your own question ? Personally for the relatively small gain financially here to be made from the Sale of the Corrado, I would keep it and find another way to raise some monies, beside you are already spending it on another car replacement are you not ?

Mine is a daily too and has been for the past 11 years. I find it a very reliable car, but they do need looking after properly - same with anything mind. Let me down yesterday, first time in years, due to my leaving the headlights on all day I had a flat battery !!! Doh !!!

Next month's Corrado meet is going to be in Northampton somewhere, you are welcome to join us. No details as yet other than area, I need to sort it all out.
