You've done all that - the tappets are easy.
-
If you want to lower it, I'd recommend getting shorter bumpstops, and Koni top-adjustables on top of lowered springs. As to the damping: If it crashes over catseyes/potholes, but wallows over undulations, you have cr@p dampers. On the springs: If it only seems to start working above 60 mph, the springs are too hard.
-
Yes, but heavy / difficult and therefore not cheap.
-
No, it isn't... The only difference is the rear shocks. Please check the part numbers if you don't believe me. The Avo's combine the worst of all worlds: too much high frequency damping, with not enough low frequency damping(and overly hard springs). Oh, and £50 collected for the standard '94 setup.

Check the oil 1st. Too thin an oil will make the head clatter like a very clattery thing (I worked hard on that one). If this fixes it, leave it alone unless you're planning to do something serious.
-
Yep (even though I have a complete set of '94 VR6 suspension going spare). The only difference between the 4 and 6 cylinder cars was that the VR6 had gas rear dampers. The car will sit lower than stock, but this is because all the '94-on cars sat 15mm higher. What coilovers are on it at present?
-
What oil are you using? If it's not 20w50 semi-synthetic at the moment, try it and see what happens. New tappets are the next think to try, and are a lot cheaper than a full rebuild.

To shrink the creases out of the leather (and get rid of any dimples in existing leather seat covers) try using a steamer. Keeps the leather supple while heating/shrinking it, but you still need to treat it with some leather cream afterwards. HTH.

Yes, interested in this too.

Check for worn wishbone bushes/bottom ball joints while you're at it. Dinkus, are you on prescription, or recreational chemicals??? :)

Are there any garages in South Wales who can fix my Sunroof?

Like I say, bring it on a dry weekend and I'll show you how. -
Repair sunroof, problem half way through........now with pic

While it has been raining hard (I understand - I've been in the US... :) ) the leak will be the result of either blocked sunroof drains, or the 'liner' not being pushed fully home. The liner is what channels the water into the darins, so it's important that it's present and correct. -
I which case, I'd be interested in a set of the bolts... :)

Herefordshire HR8 For whichever mapping tool you prefer. -
:)

Has anyone had chance to look more closely at the calipers yet?
-
It probably is possible to get the hi-tensile bolts you want - it's just that finding capheads is a lot easier...

Like I said on the other thread covering this topic: Put the roof on full tilt and just slide the inner panel forward until it locks in place... -

With the roof on full tilt. just push the inner panel forwards until it locks in place. No need for screw-drivers, manual dexterity or profanity. -
I have half-leather recaros and I'm only looking to re-do the side bolsters on the fronts. So I'm guessing I'll have to take the seats apart...
-
Having had time to think about it, are you happy with the results and do you have any advice to those who might be heading down the same route?

All looks correct in the picture. With the roof in the car, the inner panel just slides forward and locks in place. -

They're no worse than the standard roof. The hardest part is getting the roofliner out... -

Drive over this way (Herefordshire*)on a sunny day and I'll do it while you wait. *As to being in Wales, some road signs are in Welsh, but not all...
