Agreed with that as some sections of mine had to be done again all because they rushed preparation, did it free though and the results are pretty impressive. Sounds like he's just rushed it along to me. Painting and flatting after is the easy part, its the prepping that matters most :?

Did this a while ago now and didn't realise Jude took so many pics of it so thought i'd whack some up to chuckle at  Its a BMW mini sticker that comes in several pieces. Picked up off the bay for £20 so thought i'd give it a go as i'm a bit of a Mod at heart too  was dead easy to fit it just took a long time cutting around the sunroof :brickwall:

Am sure the'll sort it Jim without issues, dont forget the Biscuits though

Hi There, Nice to see another one being saved! I'd strongly recomend the clutch & timing chains doing, not cheap but can be catastrophic if it goes wrong if you dont do it. :( Also maybe all fluids including coolant, power steering, and definately Brake fluid. New plugs too would'nt be a bad idea. This will all cost a small fortune but will bring a little piece of mind  Good luck with it!

Hah! Reversing the car out once every few months to clean it down doesn't count as winter use, Kip! Wait until you're using the thing every day come rain, wind, hail, snow and all the lovely winter salt - then see how the thing holds up! Agreed mate but it was used daily until 2004 in all weathers and snow too  I Have proof  also been to the ring in it in case ya forgot  :cuckoo: Now that was a memory i'll never forget.

Excellent choice my good man and mine has been on now for 8 years without any isues at all and buffs up a treat too even after winter use

Not as such Del as some brands do have a wear indicator wire on so i guess he's confusing it with that. The ABS on a Corrado has a sensor on the hub housing the bit the strut is fixed to and a ring attached behind the disc which is kind of read by the sensor and makes the abs work when it begins to skid. Hope that helps, I like doing brakes, very thereputic  Hope to see you at BVF for a chat
