  1. Cheers buddy! yeah i did feel rather privilaged  and no never lived in reading so not me!
  2. They often come up on ebay or if you surf around places like grand prix legends (etc) i'm sure you'll find one. painted mine Black Magic too
  3. lol! was dying to have a proper grope to be honest but the gentleman in me said not to  plus my mum was watching
  4. Oh and very sorry about the thread hyjack Neil, just thought some may find it a little interesting
  5. Lol! yeah i've had a few drinks bought on this one if i'm honest  she was though really chaty and was very interested in riding technique and kept asking questions on what would be the best way to tackle the race. But unfortunately she hessitated a little and came third out of the five, but she won most of the other events! Before the race I asked her if she was happy to have my hand where you saw it was as i explained that if i hold the bike and push you off you will move backwards slightly with the amount of force but if i put my hand on both the saddle anfd you bum you wont slide back and then get a much better start! To which she said you can put your hand where ever you like if i'm off this F'in line first  that made me laugh a bit :)

  10. Yeah enquired a while ago for the VR and they were £400 ish plus vat, and not actually certain they could get hold of one either. then as luck would have it a brand new one came up on ebay which had never been fitted & still in the original pacaging so i just had to have it  didn't pay anywhere near that though :norty:
  11. Have to confess to having a little crael around under your motor today Fay when no one was looking  looking very impressive indeed and must have a spin with you in it sometime  Catch you soon.
  12. Indeed i think thats half the battle really, if they like their job and seeing and working on different stuff then they ought to be making an effort. I know i certainly like a challenge and like to do a better job than anyone else could when i get a tricky job in, to me long term customer satisfaction is paramount :salute:
  13. I wondered why you keep calling me dude all the bloody time
  14. Sorry to hear that news buddy, but yeah a bit stupid of the fitter to not renove the trims inside for the sake of 5 mins. were the scuttle trims stuck down with silicone before at all? as this would make them tricky to remove for him. We have had 4 windscreens fitted by RAC autowindscreens as they are now called in the last 2 years for one reason or another 2 were to tidy the body work up around the screen and our man did all of them and was nothing but profesional si i guess it just depends on the actual fitter rather than the company as is often suggested. He's in sheffield though so a bit of a drive for you  Good luck with it though!
  15. I'll take that as a compliment Danny  my work mates all laugh at me as they all drive VW's but they are all slammed as low as they can get away with and have different wheels every 6 bloody months! whats that all about :cuckoo: they are a bit younger though
  16. Lol! Nice price too dave, wonder who told you bout those   Lol! nice one Jim!
  17. yeah but do you have the center caps?? :D Have 15 centre caps so yeah
  18. Had my vr for ten years now so i still have the originals it came with but then wanted another set to refurb for shows/summer use which i did then another set came up for £40 so i had those too although one was beyond repair :? would like to make up a completely perfect set though as there are little things wrong with some of them but they are stil perfectly usable  Gotta agree with Jim too although it sounds insane to some i really do prefer the over anything else i've seen, even 301's but that doesn't mean i dont like them mind! i just think speedys look so damn good when they are nicely painted! 8)

Hi Mate, Butterfly's bloke here  if you have access to a power point where the car is parked up you should be getting yourself one of these. my battery is 7 years old and still seems good (ie not had a problem) http://www.airflow-uk.com/index.php?vie ... onditioner  We both use these on our summer toys and are dead easy to use too! if you plug it in that is (Cough!!! judith)
