Yes a completely ****ty job as the bolts just fuse to the alloy, best to just destroy it and replace the pipes as suggested, bit more work but you know it'll be done right in the end.

No problem. Once you have fitted it drive it around the block then loosen the bolts and let the car idle to settle it again then nip up and torque them back up. Do this with the car FLAT on the ground too. :)

Ah just read you replaced that already, they will be spot on then, it's overkill having VT rear mounts too i think is the general opinion so standard are fine.

No the others will be ok with just standard mounts and provided they aren't worn already they will be fine. always go with genuine rear mounts though if you replace those as if you are going to do it do it right in the 1st place. :)

Yep no need to use the 3 stud cover with a Vibra mount. I have one and the difference is amazing :)

Yeah will miss it but needs must and it's going to a good home. Still loving tinkering with the daily so the live is still there for sure.

More tinkering with the 8v as did the front brakes this evening. Less than an hour to do so getting not bad at it now 😀

Well it looks like i've sold the Nugget this week :( Sad day and i'll miss it terribly but it's going to the very best home it could have so relieved in that respect. Just the VR Now then to go.
