Just riding along is 30 yards up the road from my workplace  supposed to be good stuff though is the copter tape.
-
Walesys idea is also a good one matey, some speedlines and a standard grill will help no end.
-
Big sigh :( its really sad that cars aren't selling mate but please hang onto it a while longer! it looks a cracking example and this was the car featured in VW Audi wasn't it! try mentioning that in your add if you haven't already done so. Good luck. Kip

Just bought some this week too mate and gave them my chassis number and mine are exactly the same as yours, it looks loke they have revised the design a little and if you look closer you can see the 2 flanges where the tool sits. Will hopefully be fitting them tomorrow if the elusive sixth pllug arrives :bad-words:  Kip

A Superb result mate, really pleased you took it in the end as it looks stunning! I did an interview for the men & motors top 100 a few years ago and was chuffed to bits to see my car on TV. Something you'll remember for a very long time
-
Yeah thats pretty pants if you ask me, i'd report him to ebay and re list it due to time wasters. What is it with some fools :bad-words:
-
Are they that bad? i'd think it was the blade that does all the work and not the arm :ignore: I have seen some similar going for £6 each on ebay John so maybe try those first. Might get some for Judes 8v to try as hers are pretty naff.

Hi Mate, as Supercharged says its great stuff and use it ourselves, you can use a paint brush to apply it and then you can get the rippled effect with a little practice too. Pour a small amount into a jar though rather than out of the tube. I'd cut away any old damage with a stanly knife first and then maybe some rust treatment to stop and rust forming underneath it. It goes off in a few hours but i leave it overnight before painting.

Yeah be carefull mate but just use common sense really, i stuff plastic bags in the spark plug holes to stop water getting in as it oxodises if left there and causes the plugs to get stuck. Also cover anything you are not sure of if in doubt, Alarm, alternator, air box tube etc, not sure what that bits called but it looks important  most of the stuff is pretty well sealed to be honest so you shouldn't have a problem on the VR And i've used a pressure washer for years with out any problems, just do a section at a time and keep an eye on where you are blasting water.

Hi Matt, Am a big fan of gunk! it really is the bees knees when it comes to engine bays, get a big can and stick some in a spray bottle and squirt everywhere you can get, use a soft brush on painted area's and rinse regularly in a bucket of hot soapy water. On the engine and gearbox etc, I use an Auto Glym wheel brush which is quite firm so works wonders an stubborn dirt. Also lots of hot soapy water and a pressure washer with soap in and a good blast afterwards to shift the dirt & grit it lifts. I also use boiling water from a kettle to shift Seriously tough dirt that has stuck to the wax around the inner wings! Then GT85 all over the lot then wipe up after a few mins, i also polish the innerwings with AG super resin and then a little wax oil into the nooks and crannies to keep water at bay! Simple  Just allow a full weekend to do it rather than a few hours. And always best to do a small area at a time rather than all of it at once. Do the airbox end first and this gets you excited with the results so you are then happy to attack the rest. :|

Not done the clutch yet mate, definately the next job
-
It was judes current car mate not her old one, and mine is pretty similar so get it done ASAP! Yeah last year was a rear quarter painted with 10 days to go but luckily didn't have to remove the window on that job as they blended it in nicely.
-
I Like the pressure mate  Just hope its done in time and done right as theres no time for F ups with the paint boys and i'll be round there every day too as its only 25 yards from my work place so i can keep an eye on the whole process. Its taking the screen area back to bare metal i'm thinking of most but i'm sure once its done it'll last at least 3 or 4 years and then if a new screen is required then i'll give it a good look over in case it needs to be re-done. Its not such a trauma once you've had bits painted before but always a concern the first time you have anything done. I would urge anyone though who's having a new screen to demand to see the bodywork before the stick a new one in as they may just cover it up again :nono: to fester for a few more years which is not good at all. :cuckoo:

Was on top of a very plush mat though mate and i did inspect it first Lol! he really did a good job removing the glass although it was a real nightmare for them! He's done both of Jude's cars now and is really enthusiastic for the C's so i'm sure its in good hands when it goes back to him, i'll be watchin his every move too

Well i haven't updated for a while so thought i'd give you an insight into whats going on. The 8v is all hunky dory for the moment although must give it a good service and cam & tensioner change soon. But the VR is a much different story, i knew there was a few small bits of rust showing under the windscreen seal so had the screen taken out and then flat bedded to my body shop for sorting, also i decided to remove the doors at the same time as the sills could do with a blow over too! And may as well get the bumper done while i'm at it  So i spent this morning at the body shop taking off the bits for them to make life easier to get on with the job in question. Just hope its all done in time for stanford hall! Pics to laugh at :lol:P4080521.JPG[/attachment:2k2n0e5r]
