  1. Had a very long chat with them yesterday when i went to see the car and am really pleased with their profesionalism nice guys and seem very dedicated to perfection. Cant wait for them to get properly moving with it  it's coming on nicely and all looking straight again now
  2. I'd do exactly as Corozin says, get onto your own insurance with her reg number and start proceedings pronto!
  3. thebodyshopsheffield.co.uk :D doing my Nugget at the moment.
  4. Mate, email me tomorrow... Mine came from GPC in April last year, £60 +vat I think thats a TPS price you've quoted - they will only offer 10-15% off 'normal' parts where a dealer might do 30-40% Steve show me where a dealer does that kinda discount????? I struggle to get 10% t mine sometimes... :(
  5. I think some folk just dont fancy paying out for something that in essence doesn't do anything! i think the price is quite reasonable actually for what you are getting. Folk are happy to spent money on other buts they dont really need ie tuning items that maybe dont have a massive effect on performance where as others like myself would prefer to bu all new stuff like this when it comes up. I just dont need any for mine otherwise i most certainly would place an order :?
  6. Lol! this thread cheers me up no end Andy as i often feel exactly the same frustrations with my car so chin up mate you are not alone and hang in there, it's what Corrados do!
  7. Jesus I know when we spoke at the pub meet you said it wasn't good but that is almost unreal  No way could that have been saved so defo done the right thing breaking and keeping others going :? Still sad though.
  8. Elsecar is a good little show, alll types of watercooled dubs there, it is only a small event so dont expect VW Northwest or anything but it has a superb atmosphere and we will have a CCGb stand there. The show this year is on bank holiday monday though! We usually have several folk stay over the night before as we go for a curry so could squeeze a few more in on the floor ya have a sleeping bag  The more the merrier for me. See the Elsecar thread below. viewtopic.php?f=20&t=100452
  9. Looking good mate! would love to see it in the flesh :D
  10. i'd sell the vr without batting an eye lid, there are lots of vr's around should you wish to return to one but there just are not many 1.8 valvers around in this condition. seen it in the flesh and nearly wet my pants   in fact i think i actually did wet my pants!
  11. Alex, leavi it with me mate i'll see if i can get you a good quality copy of Jude's, will be a while though so when we get the brake lines sorted i'll do it then
  12. Cheap car cover Mate! at least the wagon wont get dirty, just the cover. got a spare too
  13. In my humble oppinion of working in the cycle trade for 20 years roof racks are good for road bikesas they dont get covered in the same amount of crap that a mountain bike does. The last thing you want is dirt/grit etc falling onto your car after a ride. Hence why i think the rear racks are better for ATB users :?
  14. Indeed what the hell are they on about???? The Corrado looks awsome from any angle :notworthy: :luvlove:
  15. they normally have some goood deals on mate so am sure you'll get something sorted :)
  16. Hi there. As matt says you really need a light board to be legal. Rack wise for a corrado i'd go for the hollywood F10 which is a high lift rack so will easily clear the lights, number plate and the spoiler no problem. We sell them too so if you fancy one happy to do mail order. They retail at £110 but could probably post it for that too. ;-)
  17. Aye as long as mine are in the first batch  Not sure what Jude will say about it but she's in Portugal so she cant at the mo :D Will plan a weekend off then sometime when you've made some up and had folk have payed you up front for the ones they'd like me to collect. :salute: Thanks Alex! :notworthy:
  18. Yep perfect reason to do the body work! all the rest simply bolts on and can be done another time when funds allow. :D
  19. Alex, I think although we all like a bargain i dont think anyone would moan about the level of workmanship that is to go into a set of these and some things just cant be had for pennies, these being one of them! so think up a total figure and post it up, dont be shy! Ps, get cracking on a set for me please and i'll collect when they are ready or indeed when several sets are ready :D
  20. Hi Phil, Good to see you taking the effort to try and arrange this, can be quite time consuming sometimes but genarally all goes quite smoothly. I think various forum folk have tried to arrange a few stands at events over the last few years and ended up having to cancel due to dropouts for one reason or another. So good on ya!!! Get a list up well in advance and all should go well :? Good luck with it and no doubt see you over the show season
  21. Happy to put people up at Corrado towers too for anyone wanting work doing :-D
  22. The little screw covers for the dash binnacle :) Corrado Chrome script badges too would sell like hotcakes..... 50mm chin spoiler. rear number plate plinth. :)
