  1. If its like the VR CAT, it will be bolted onto the downpipe but clamped on the other end. How long depends how stuck on it is  Took be a godo hour to get mine off with a rubber hammer - was a right b*gger!
  2. Yeah can definately be sorted, my speedlines had similar gouges out of them. but i sanded them back with a bosch sander and filled them and sanded it down flat. Sprayed up not bad. Just make sure you sand with a fine grit between paint coat and laquer as they'll come out rough... like mine did
  3. Depends how deep they are tbh mate, you may have to sand them right back fill and repaint. But if its light - wet and dry the scuffs.
  4. Very nice mate! Get more pics up? Is that a pin stripe down the side?
  5. Yeah i like the gold/yellow too! and its different!
  6. Try just pressing the mirror with your and then try the controls again. I've found if ive washed the car and press the mirror hard enough to move the glass that it can cause the glass to get stuck, but the motor does try to move it like you say. Odd that this would be the case on both mirrors... worth a try though.
  7. and what do these 'other people' drive. Cos if its not something a little special i wouldnt listen to a word they say :D
  8. By the sounds of you post you love and enjoy the car and its just the peer pressure thats making you think twice. I say grin and bear it and keep the G60.. you'll regret it if you get rid due to someone merely suggesting you should get rid. :D The mileage on my clock says 140k just turned actually... but the engine itself has done about 15k. The body itself is in excellent condition for a 17 year old car and has only just started developing a patch of rust - which is on the tailgate above the number plate light plate, which incidentally is a common place for rust. I've seen alot younger cars with alot more rust and bad paint.
  9. www.formula1.com - official F1 website. Or the BBC sport page.
  10. Yeah exactly. Regardless of the car, Kovelienen wasnt up to the job full stop. Button should be doing better and can do better. I agree Lewis has been in the Mclaren alot longer then anyone else and also seems to be able to adapt quicker. I read on the BBC website that Ross Brawn stated that they are slightly behind the front runners and they need to put more work into getting up to speed.
  11. i dunno, theres quite a few in Leeds, especially white ones. I dont normally go for white cars but they look great in white! Seen a few grey ones and they look cool too!
  12. So whats gone on with button, bad time? I cant honestly believe its due to the car being 'designed around lewis' - thats BS. Yeah i reckon massa will be out done by Alonso.
  13. What you gonna get what you gonna get what you gonna get? :D
  14. Even worse now they've got that prat on it trying to be michael jackson
  15. yes thats what happened to my speedlines. Dirt would get in the places that werent completely smooth. Looked shoite after a few months. Though its worth doing if money is tight and i reckon youd get away with it if it was black you were painting them :D
  16. Ah chin up mate thats nothing. change the flexi and bleed the brakes. Job done :D
  17. Aye i had to do the same on some polished rims. The laquer comes off like slime. Wear gloves because it does BURN if it gets on your hands!
  18. YUP! who you get it off? KUR2Y off here sells them.
  19. Yeah as Casual said. Its the resistor for the lights - side lights to be exact i think. Has a yellow plug if i remember rightly. Needs unplugging when an aftermarket headlight loom is fitted.
  20. So what happens when theres no scrapped vehicles or parts available! We're all DOOMED! :(
  21. I retract the above statement about ALL VRs being lumpy. I know the old engine in my VR was, but i've been taking note of my current one and i think its more the dash noise/vibration when idling as opposed to the engine itself. Must sort that out when i can be bothered
  22. I have to go out of my way to the the vpower stuff - even more so when i move house. But i definately think its worth it, the car just feels smoother and slightly more eagar on the throttle. Though its at 116.x pence at the moment, and who knows if/when it will go up further :(
