If it was my car mate it would be an easy decision - i would keep it, no doubt. Though im not in your shoes and dont know what you've got going on at home etc. But i'd say, if you can keep it.... keep it!!! :D

there not needed, but do work well with a FI vr6. Ok, cheers Karl. I best get saving then hadnt i.
-
So are the 263 cams necessary too?
-
Yup! ran that for about a year before adding the zorst and water cooling. much cheaper than going turbot being as its half/two thirds the price and a lot less work.[/quote:2a7k7xzo] which SC and how much did it cost you? Is it a DIY job?

LOOK WHAT SOMEONE DID TO MY RADO(UPDATE P2)

When you say in work, do you mean in the works carpark? Is it covered by CCTV? -
[/quote:3vnyhurk] The only issue i had with the Raceland was this 'sucking' (gases travelling through tubular steel) noise i was moaning about, but i could have had that with any stainless steel mani. I wrapped it in heat wrap which deadened the sound a bit, but it was still there. Now that you mention it, i havent noticed it recently (id forgotten all about it  ), not since i fitted the sports cat :D Maybe that quietened it down. So, get a supercharger, new injectors and a remap and you could get around 290bhp?
-
Arent they like £600 each! or something like that? Whats it for, race day, race day and qualifying? Should be a good day/weekend for you! :-D Hope its good weather.... saying that there'll be more action if its not.
-
Yeah i heard. Ban was over turned or something. It says he and simmons got compensation... so are they both deemed to be innocent or what?
-
Can you stick a supercharger straight onto the side of a standard engine. Or do other things need changing with it?
-
He could also mean the Inlet manifold though. You can replace the exhaust manifold though, with a stainless steel exhaust manifold - Which can cost between £160 for a raceland manifold, right up to the supersprint manifold which costs £400 and odd. Even though the supersprint will be top quality, alot of people go for the raceland manifold (inlcuding myself) and its superb quality esp for the price. Generally a 6 branch exhaust manifold wont give you any more bhp. I found at most, it improved the throttle response. But, if he did mean the inlet manifold, the Schrick vsr manifolds are the weapon of choice, but are expensive for what power gains you will get - personally i've not got any experience of the schick manifold so cant really help you there. You will be told that gaining significant more power from a VR wont come cheap.

I understand the parking dilemma. But all i do is park a little further away where the car park is quieter, park over two spaces OR where possible park between 2 nice cars - where you know the owners wont want to bump their cars either. As for the seats, you could remove them and fit with standard seats, leather or otherwise (not sure if you have leather interior) Headlights - do you have a headlight loom fitted, additionally brighter bulbs are a good idea :D I own a Bordeaux rado which shows the dirt alot. YOu should see the rear of it now, after this weather. All that salt and muck  But i see it as an excuse to get out there and get it cleaned - yes i like cleaning the car  The 2 rear seats i can see that been a prob in some circumstances. Me and the missus have already agreed that if/when we have 2 kids the rado will be fine. The boot is a nice size and imo the rear isnt too tight. Though no good if you have 3 kids  Hope that gives you something to think about. Gaz

Corrado isnt as impractical as people think. What makes it impractical for you? Oh and the car already looks respectable. :D
-
Whaaaaaaa'!? You're not getting rid of it are you mate? Or have i got the wrong end of the stick.
-
WOW!! Its amazing what a nice set of alloys and a good clean can do. Nice one Nathan :D Get some better pics up mate
-
That is a nice motor mate. Love the interior too, looks all snug. 8) Whats the MPG and insurance like on that?
-
Would running 195 instead of 205 give that little bit of stretch?
-
Very nice mate! Though, the dog doesnt look too impressed?
-
How about a Legacy, always comes across as the more 'mature' Subaru but with similar performance and possibly more space in the back?
-
Indeed it is matey! I bought a BMC cleaning kit the other week and gave it a wash and then put some oil on it. DONT DO IT! It must have been causing my MAF problems as the revs would dip occasionally and sometimes caused the car to stall - until i washed it all off :?
-
That looks very nice mate, i really like that! 8) :D It has a nice simple look to it. :salute:
-
No different. I think its the clips holding the fuel lines on that made me thing it was part of the how the BMC was held on
-
Yep I can do for ya. To start with, there is a flat metal strip that came in the BMC box. Just cut about a 3" piece and bend into an L shape. 1" by 2". Drill out one of the holes in the strip at the long end. You need this hole to clear one of the engine bolts on that side of the engine. Undo the bolt and feed the strip onto it and tighten. Now you can bolt the filter strap to the metal strip. Ta Daa! Ah thats how i did it! it looks like you've done it slightly different in the pic. Obviously not.
-
8vmatt, could you take another pic of how you have connected the bracket to the engine that holds the BMC? :)
-
immobiliser button? I have one, you press it to deactivate the immobiliser, so if your keys get nicked the car still cant be started without pressing the button... normally they're better hidden though. Mine can be turned off, so that maybe the case with yours if it doesnt do anything. Just a thought.
