  1. Yeah thats the serial port mate. You could also use a serial to USB converter like http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?Mod ... &U=strat15
  2. Not sure why Button got an MBE for winning the F1 WC after how many years...... And why not? Just the sort of attitude we have over here.... Kick/Ignore the winner... I mean how many people know we had a triple World champion in Motorsport (Andy Priaux in WTCC)? Not many I bet! Its not about kicking/ignoring the winner, I just dont rate Button as high as other people do, dont get me wrong, i'd support him cos he's british if there was no other brits to support. But he had it easy this season and still almost threw it away..... nearly. What i meant was, after 1 WC? If it had been multiple WC, i could see why he'd get an MBE. IMO it will be the 2010 season which will define Button for me. It will show how much of a good driver he is, as it will be alot tougher challenge for him then the 2009 season was. Just my 2p
  3. fair enough mate. Just wanted to know if it was direct from Eibach or not!

  5. Where did you get the 5mm hubcentric spacers from mate? Yeah but is that direct from Eibach? I looked on Europerformance website and they sell Eibach but not 5mm as hubcentric.
  6. Where did you get the 5mm hubcentric spacers from mate?
  7. x2 with the hammer. Then cable tie the new swtich in place.
  8. Definately mate, go for the Inox Stainless steel KWs. You'll be glad you did when you get a few years down the road and you're still able to adjusted. Pay the extra £80! :D
  9. I've heard the Pi springs are stiffer though. Maybe the H&R springs are not so stiff
  10. I've had condensation problems on all corrados ive owned. I thought it was a Corrado trait. Where to check for leaks?
  11. I've had H&R springs with Koni shocks before and i now have the KW V1s. As Toad says the V1s are alot more composed through in the corners. They feel harder over the bumper, but thats to be expected compared to the springs/shocks. But then that made the springs shocks 'softer' through the corners. Depends what you're after really. If you dont mind the hardER (but not uncomfortable) ride and want better handling performance then go for the V1s. Then again, if you only want to drop the car a little and keep some comfort, go for the shocks/springs. But imo the KW V1s arent uncomfy, i use my car as a daily and i dont ever think about the car being too hard. Saying that over, really rough uneven roads it can rock you about a bit. But the dampering works well on the KWs. I cant praise the KWs enough, I've had about 2 sets of coilovers (inc. KWs) and 3 sets of springs/shocks (inc. OEM shocks) and i havent looked back since getting the KWs.
  12. Surely the weight of the car shouldnt/wouldnt be resting on the bumpstop though. :?
  13. I had V-maxx coilovers on mine at one point, which i believe are more or less the same as the g-maxx. Compared to what i have now they are utter shoite! The rear in the pics look lower then the fronts.
  14. it looks like it! or possibly a weasel.
  15. caaachiiiiing!!!!! £££ Get tracking done first mate, see how it goes after that?
  16. I saw a clip about this film somewhere... cant remember... is the film as bad as i think it will be? Good spot though!
  17. Looking good Chantelle! (the car that is  ) Have you got any date in mind to have it all completed and getting it out on the road? :D How many hours have you worked on the car in total?
  18. heh, the snow is fresh. Where are you based? The rear looks alot lower then 40mm drop. Have you fitted lowering springs/dampers?
  19. Welcome back to the fold Mr Sunderland... i had wondered what had happened to you. The forum has been quiet without you  Car looks sweet, get some pics up of the inside! :D
  20. I thought unmarked cop cars couldnt have any sort of stickers or 'tat' in the ie nothing to suggest its just a civilian car? Even such things like dealer stickers had to be removed? This was a few years ago - maybe things have changed.. but I used to see it around a lot, and it definitely had local radio station stickers in the window and was definitely an un-marked cop car! Sly dogs! :? I dont see the point in having an unmarked car just to wear the high vis jackets. Its a complete give away
