  1. No it wont. The original wiring goes all over the place round the car which means there's a voltage drop. ALl the loom does it "short cut" the wiring, making it more direct from the battery thus a lower voltage drop. This doesnt strain the bulbs. Though for the sake of a tenner for 2 x Osram night breakers off ebay, id replace them at the same time.
  2. i agree Kev. Thats why i had a Rover Metro when i first passed my test  It was more the "got your taste for modifying cars from an Allegro" comment
  3. Couldnt have anything to do with those universal spacers could it? I had a tyre rubbing on a spring before and you could easily smell it AND it had a distinctive spring profile shape in it. SUrely if the wheel/tyre clears the suspension, it clears the suspension, unless something is loose or a severely worn bush is allowing movement.
  4. Looks ok to me. I think it'd look better (in regards to the police) if it was lowered. I think the arch gap makes the wheels APPEAR to stick out further than they are. As above the tread is under the arch, and you are allowed 30mm sticking out. VOSA (i suspect) will just say what ive said, 30mm max and tread must be under the arch.
  5. Is the tread of the tyre sticking out beyond the arch? Are the wheels more than 30mm outside the arch? Pics?
  6. hehe, you're ready for the looney house. Glad its all safe.
