I get a loud click when braking, doesnt happen everytime. I thought it was the rear brake carriers, but checked the bolts and they were tight. Only does it occasionally. Cant seem to work out what it is - will be interested to know where this thread goes :-)

With the HIDS not only will you have to fit the HIDs but also they'll have to be self levelling and have washers. So its not just a case of fitting the lighting.

The first thing i expect to hear is putting a VR in it is alot of work. The second they'll say is why build something you can buy - but then if i had given someone a car for free and they go and sell it albeit another Corrado, id be a bit upset about them doing that. Though i dont know your dad  The 1.8t route is an option, sorry cant say whats involved in this. Bear in mine, bigger engine will mean bigger brakes. Sounds like you've got inherited a nice car :D Get some pics up!

Dug the mirror out mate, its sherry in colour not blue - bad memory  Send me your address and i'll get it posted as soon as i can. Not sure when i'll get chance to post it though, it maybe easier to get it collected if you can arrange it.

No sooner had I read stu37's thread and saw the damage...

Yup no damage at all, just new front end needed. :D Though, the bottom left of the rad looks iffy, on the pic anyway. Maybe worth changing it whilst the front end is off. -
Chin up mate. It'll be back on the road in no time and yes get a CAT 1 alarm/immob fitted asap!!! Let me knwo if you need the mirror :D

Would appear so and yes driving standard these days are unbelievable! Josh - sorry to see this dude, but if its any consolation it shouldnt take too much to get that back to how it was. The bar behind the bumper (the one the bumper is attached to i assume you mean, is just the bumper bracket. If the rad is ok, chances are the damage may not be too bad. Remove the black bumper bracket - you'll have to get under the car and remove the 2 larger (17mm i think, NOT the smaller inner one) bolts on either side that holds the bumper irons, you'll then be able to slide the braket out. Then remove the slam panel - which has a fair few bolts holding it on. It was lucky that the damage looks to be in the middle as damage to the wings can and does damage the inner skins. A new slam panel, bonnet and bumper, lights, grille could see it been all good. Oh and once you get the slam panel off check the rad where the brakets hold it onto the slam panel as looking at the pic those brackets look at a bent angle. -
Not the cold start valve then

The valvers have a cold start valve dont they, it could be stuck open?

Wow, they look awesome mate and really finish the car off. Lovely motor! :D -
Looking at the pic there's no pipe coming out the back of the box to attach it to the existing exhaust. Unless there's a flexi pipe part of the fitting kit they provide.

Kit came today Dave. THey're super quality - i bought one years ago from someone cant remember if it was off ebay or through forum, but these kits are alot better quality. Though not sure about the long screws, one to get the pivot pin out but not sure about the others. Need to read the instructions properly. Which i'll add look very comprehensive THANKS!!! EDIT - ok makes sense.

Anger at people driving older cars?
Critical_Mass replied to Pat_McCrotch's topic in General Car Chat
Neill may have a point in this theory - it certainly will explain why so many people like to sit so close to my rear bumper even a tap on the breaks, once they back off a little, see them try to reattach themselves back onto it. Drives me mad considering if they did go into the back of me the corrado would be written off :(
