  1. Yes the housing off as the thermostat sits inside. You can take the housing with out taking the front of the car off and rad out - its tricky but can be done.
  2. WOW that bloke has some skill... Im jealous of you folk that work within F1
  3. As above get the replaced, but the brown deposits on the electrode looks normal.
  4. Nice one Matt, appreciate the effort youre putting in. Definately interested in the fibre glass, though prices of each will be when the ultimate decision is made.
  5. Id be interested in some fibre glass wings. Like the idea of carbon, but cant justify the cost for them. Whats the ball park figure for tthe fibre glass front wings?
  6. If thats the case, get the wheel off and check asap. Had this happen to me on the rear, the bolt must have come loose and eventually fell out whilst driving when i went to brake it made an awful noise and then the caliper got pulled round with the wheel, knackered the splash guard but more importantly tore the brake pipe. Seriously get the wheels off and check the bolts
  7. haha, me and the gf will be doing this also. If no one on here can help, then just google there's a fair few places that hire them out.
  8. If it stops when you apply brakes implies the brakes are the issue. Possibly the pad moving?
  9. didnt realise Corrados came with this. I gather its just a motor on each headlight where the screw handles are on non self-adjusting headlights?
  10. Exactly its instinct to brake, despite what you know you should do. Glad you came away unscathed Krishen, the Mk2 looks a mess!
  11. :D It'll be back on the road in no time! Good luck Stu!
  12. Swifty  That supercedes that comment then ;) haha
  13. Did the same thing myself not long ago Karl - bought a bike cos i need to lose some weight and get fitter. Its been killing me too, but its got to be worth it.... i hope
  14. Yes from me. Dont look THAT different to the point of looking wrong, confused by those comments tbh. Never been pulled by the cops either. THey have the BSC code thing on them too.
  15. The pickup is cool 8) The estate, not so much. Looks too much like a mk3 polo estate.
  16. Is there an issue with water running off the roof, as the trim allow water to run along it to the front and back drains.
  17. Nice vid. Would still say i was more impressed with the Ken block vids simply because he was going around obsticles etc not just drifting. Though nice drifting.
  18. Does the new engine come with ancillaries? Maybe worth changeing water pump, thermostat etc if not
  19. Infact looking my pics, i think i fitted late wings with early bumper and had fitting issues. But id imagine the drooping would still occur as the bumper is slightly wider than the car. If i was you'd id sauce a early bumnper as no point getting one sprayed and fitted to just remove it at a later date.
  20. When i fixed my old G60 up i unwittingly fitted a late spec bumper to it and on the corners of the bumper, where you slide the bumper onto the 2 round brackets either side, it would droop and leave a gap between the top of the bumper and the bottom of the wing. Hope that makes sense. Corrado owners probably would notice, but others maynot. I'll try dig a pic out for you.
  21. Fcking ugly thing that ^. Not so much the back, but the front looks half ass'd
  22. very funny. Though you'd look a bit of a twit going to pick it up after winning the auction
  23. It will fit BUT where the part of the bumper meets the wing - on the side not front. It wont sit right, as its slightly wider.
  24. Right, im convinced that the Corrado is indeed an idiot magnet. Tonight heading from Leeds to Wakefield, headed through a large village/small town. Came to some large speed bumps - the sort that goes across the whole road. Some idiot in a punto almost going into the back of me. Fool! Next up (same trip) was on the way back to leeds heading up the M1. I pulled from the outer lane to the middle another 300 meters up the road we approached a slip road. Traffic was coming on including a truck with a road works van behind. As i approached the d!ck in the van signalled and immediately pulled into the middle lane. I was only about 20 meters behind and had to go round him in the outer lane. Again, a few miles down the road, similar situation but no slip road. In the middle lane. Box van driving behind a truck, van wasnt gaining on the truck. Suddenly signalled and moved out immediately again had to go round in the outer lane. Both vans pulled out as soon as they started to signal. Neither waited to see if i would flash them or move over to the outer lane - i probably would if they'd have just signalled and not moved straight out. What the hell is wrong with people!!!
