  1. Yeah it does. I was told finger tight then another 1/8 turn with a spanner.
  2. Yup they'll need nipping up. Not too tight though. Once youve tightened them up, try moving the retaining washer with a screw driver you should still be able to move it. If it takes a bit of effort then the nuts are too tight.
  3. ^^^ Itll punish you for such thoughts. A pair of track rod arms and ends for mine i think. Steering tramlines like mad :-/
  4. Dont put radweld in, it generally doesnt work and also can cause harm to the coolant system. If its one of the pipes then go to halfords and get some self amalgamating (spell) tape.

    Fog lights

Are fogs tested on the MOT?
  6. I cant see the top mount nut being the problem, whats wrong with the drivers side - too much negative or too much positive camber? Id be checking the top mounts are fitted correctly, nothing bent?
  7. Have you adjusted the camber yourself? How did you do it - normally lasers are used to adjust the geometry. Did you check both sides?
  8. Thats ace! Some quality craftsmanship must of gone into making all the little parts.
  9. Hi guys, I have a 1/8th remote control electric buggy for sale. Its an unwanted gift and is new. Ive taken it out of the box and ran it indoors for about 5 mins. Box is slightly damaged. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110779025517 Cheers
  10. There's a good 1/3 of fuel in the tank  I'll check out the loose pump, but im pretty sure last time i looked at the pump it was secure.
  11. Quick question. My cars starts fine each time. The parking spaces at work are on a slant. If i park with the car facing slightly up hill, i have no issues. However on the rare occassion i park facing down hill slightly the car takes a few turns to start and sounds like its struggling slightly. Clearly a fuel problem, but what can cause it. Starts ok every time apart from when parking slightly down hill. Im thinking fuel pump but then why wuld it only happen when down hill and not up hill
  12. Im not on list Jay, but im going to have to pull out also. Cheers. :)
  13. What was the overrun issue Dave? Noticed on my coming off the throttle it jolts a little, changed the front engine mount and it still does it a little. VR characteristic?
  14. THere is one down there thats not in use - its loose around the temp sensor area. THat could well be it. Apparently its for some diagnostic or an option. Either way its not used.
  15. Welcome to the fold... pics would be good :D
  16. I'll echo the above... def the steering wheel has to go. What make are the wheels? I see you've got paedo bear stickers on your car
  17. Was expecting to see a camper.. maybe others were too and didnt bother click
  18. Did your gfs brother hate the car, doesnt look like he took care of it :( still a bit of TLC and it will be back to how it should be :D You gonna take that spoiler off? Maybe give it a good service if its been sat for a while. Maybe even change the spark plugs. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=obd2+cable http://www.amazon.com/gp/search?rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Aobd2+cable+2x2+adapter&keywords=obd2+cable+2x2+adapter&ie=UTF8&qid=1321054773&ajr=0 Yeah they're both cables the top one (in this post) is the obd2 cable, not the large 16 pin connector - which fits newer VWs. The corrado is obd1 so you ALSO need the obd1 adaptor to make the 16 pin connector into the corrados 2x2 connector - 2 small connections with 2 pins (2x2). You need both.
  19. No problem. Hows the car running? The light being on could be as something as the ECU detecting a misfire. The engine light on my girlfriends lupo is constantly on despite changing parts.
  20. If you look on ebay you can buy the cables. you'll need the 2x2 adaptor also... OBD2 cable - http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=obd2+cable&_sacat=See-All-Categories But you'll need the adaptor as corrados are all OBD1 - http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=obd2+cable+2x2+adapter&_sacat=0&_odkw=obd2+cable&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313 Then if you go to http://www.ross-tech.com/ you can download the software from there. Hook it up to the car (the connection is under the gear stick trim). :D
