It goes under the seat, the seat adjustment back and forth is on the right, that goes on the left and allows adjustment for the tilt of the seat.

Critical_Mass replied to dghodges's topic in Engine Bay
funnily enough i have the same issue. Looks like the seal has gone and its leaking, doesnt look to be much but the level drops quickly. Went shopping yesterday and came back to the car in the car park with a big patch of wet on the floor. been carrying a gallon of water in the boot. I tried some rad seal but it hasnt really worked. Gonna try get a seal next week. -

Certainly is, which is probably what's putting people off. It will go on ebay if it doesnt sell in here. I may have been naive in thinking it wouldnt take much selling. -

Hi all, I have a Samsung Galaxy S II 16GB for sale, only opened by person in shop, not been used. The girlfriend got it on a new contract but doesnt want it, the plan was to get it and sell it on and buy her one that she does want. It was a Vodafone contract, but im sure its not network specific as the person in the shop got the phone before she asked what network we wanted the new contract to be on, so should work on the top for - Vodafone, O2, Orange and T Mobile. But will definately work on Vodafone and O2. Comes boxed with headphones and charger. Looking for £430 + postage

Yeah its still available from VW but NONE have it in stock. Ive just put some Rad weld in just now - hate to have to use it but I need the car to stay on the road until i can get a seal. Saying that, it could all me pointless if i crack any of the plastic when undoing the nuts. I'll spray some WD40 on them before attempting to remove and yes i will do them slowly. Last thing i want is needing a new rad. Just spent £263 to get it through the MOT.

Yeah ive read your post Jon and Im sure its not the same issue (touch wood). I can see where the water is coming out and its definately between the elbow and the radiator. There's also a black must round the flange as if the seal has been destroyed some how. Can anyone confirm that its just a normal rubber o ring that i can get from DIY or motor factors?
-
VW do stock it but no where at this end of England have got it in stock at the mo and cant get it in until monday - could do with it this weekend latest really, im havign to top the coolant up every other day. GSF dont stock it either. Apparently its just a normal O ring so may see if i can pick one up at a motor factors or DIY place. Even as a temp fix.

Can anyone tell me if this is still available?

Can anyone advise me on this? part number is 535 121 687 for anyone who looks for it in the future. It just says round seal, is there anything special about the seal or can it be any round rubber seal, as long as its the correct diameter and close to the correct thickness?

Hi all, Ive got a coolant leak on the VR, its the join between the top of the radiator and the elbow joint. Is the flange/seal still available? Thanks

Fix it. You said yourself its mint.

According to the direct gov website you can renew your MOT up to one month prior without affecting the expiry date - does this still apply if its a fail? I havent got a red bit of paper haha, didnt get given anything. Its still at the garage anyway and will be getting sorted tomorrow. :D -

Failed MOT :( Though was only for one tyre, which i suspected it would on. Also excessive play in one of the NS wishbone bushes. Its getting sorted tomorrow. The MOT doesnt officially round out until Saturday. -

Looks fine to be honest. My only question is, you dont mention tax? I think it could well be a case of just being patient. With Summer approaching the car market generally tends to pick up a bit. But being patient is the key and dont go dropping the price suddenly.
