Olly would be a good one for this. He's done one in the last week.

Or if you're not feeling flush enough for the Audioscape ones, but you are feeling brave, just make your own door pods.

I think this is going to mirror the G60/VR6 debate! :D

Blue K plate in Lydford crossroads in Somerset on thursday. Nice set of M3 lights on the back too! -
My mate's had an AMD remap and a Milltek exhaust on his R32 and it kicks out 280! Also, it'll be less stressing on the R32 engine going for bigger power as it has more to start with. R32 it!

The rallye chargers are different as well. Rallyes use 6 port chargers (6 small holes), but they were found to crack due to no material between the ports so the Corrados use 4 large ports instead.

Yeah, I've been wanting a set for ages, bad timing really, with the job and all! But they're just too cheap to pass up!
-
Not any more there isn't

Hold on andy! I haven't recieved them yet! Gonna run the 17s to the RR day, then I'll sort them out, I recon i'll have MAJOR hight issues if i stick 16's straight on, gotta sort the suspension first! I've got more than enough to be working on this week!

We're going the same time as Olly and the SWDubs lot, can't wait to go again!! Know what you mean about the brakes though, the other year we went and my mate in a new M3 was lighting cigerettes off of his brake discs!

I did hear there was a smart silver corrado going round Taunton, i'll have to look out for it. Anyway, back to topic: Smart looking H plate Blue G60 in Farrington Gurney at about 12.30 this afternoon. -
Walesy, Think i'm gonna follow in your footsteps, as soon as she stops breaking!!

Golf Mk2 G60 Turbo Charged, Can It Be Remapped/Chipped HELP!
_Monkey replied to young lad's topic in Engine Bay
No worries mate. 8) If i can get the bloody thing back on the road it time I'll take you for a spin, I'd actually be quite interested to see how yours goes as it seems quite modded, and i'll never turn down a chance to hear that charger whine again! :D -
Golf Mk2 G60 Turbo Charged, Can It Be Remapped/Chipped HELP!
_Monkey replied to young lad's topic in Engine Bay
Hi mate, Don't have any 0-60 times as yet, there's a rr day on the 9th, so i'll be able to give you an idea on power soon. More details are here. As for comparisons, Civic's are pretty easy cos no one i've raced mods the engine too much, Scoobys, I can beat mildly modded turbo's but theres a couple of big power ones that always give me a whuppin!! -
That's great news, i'll hold off on buying a set then. Congrats Craig! :D

Golf Mk2 G60 Turbo Charged, Can It Be Remapped/Chipped HELP!
_Monkey replied to young lad's topic in Engine Bay
Hi, i've gotta a G60 Turbo, just put a big valve head on it(still standard cam), and it's made a big difference, i'm running more power at less boost. Definately reccomended. As for remapping, I have always gone to Jabba Sport for mine, but they did do the conversion. -
Or..... You remember those toy cars you could get that glowed in the dark........
-
Agreed, it looks sweet as it is. It looked like you already had the car re-sprayed when I saw it at Ultimate.
-
Just got your email, thanks mate. :thumbleft: Now I just gotta wait till I get home to see them!
-
Breakers? On here perhaps? I can never be bothered to replace mine, I'm only gonna bash the hell out of it again!!
-
Cheers Walesy, it's all resting on the exhaust really, it's going off today and I've put a note asking them very nicely to do it quickly! iow_corrado_g60, glad you said that cos I ordered one off of Darren a couple of days ago! I'm getting some polyurathane crossmember bushes too, just to make sure!

Right, I've done a whole 800 miles since the head, and I've just learnt a valuable lesson: I've known since the rolling road day in Feb that the front engine mount has been on its way out, but didn't think it was that badly gone, however I was wrong: The engine has taken a life of it's own and has been rocking back and fourth so much, that it's split the front flexi hose on the downpipe! Not only satisfied with making the car sound like a tractor, it's also beaten the actuator against the bulkhead and broken the bracket that holds it on, resulting in no boost and no power! Now I've got till the 9th, to get the downpipe off, send it back to Blue Flame for a warranty job, and fix the actuator so i can take it back to Jabba for a remap. All before the rr day! Morale of the story.... FIX THE FU£%ING ENGINE MOUNT!!!!!
