lo, hmmmm.... that other person was me. :) Fantastic car, miss it dearly. I fitted the coilovers (fk Konigsports). Full storm beige leather (matching boot mat from justmatz last year). Eyebrow spoiler and a few of the under bonnet odds and sods (including itg induction kit). Also smoked the headlights and tinted the rear taillgihts. Great to see its in the hands of another forum member. :D Gav -
The first s4 was was based on the audi 100 circa 1993 onwards (often referred to as the urs4) this also came with the 2.2 20v 5pot turbo. (forgotten code for the minute) esentially same as the aby in that had coilpacks as oposed to the early 5-speed s2 that had a dizzy. Gav

The fans are the same albeit the wiring plug. The rad is totally different. If youre doing a vr converiosn into a radoyoull also need the rado top hose for the rad.

nope, bugger all ground clearance, you can just see the recess ive made in the sill to allow it to sit up in the sill so i can drop the back end. Gav

couple of snow pics...

Fitted the coilovers the other day but cant drop the rear as much as i want till i make the recess in the sill to allow the tailpipe to sit flush. Once thats done therell be a substantial drop on the cards :? Few other bits and bobs on the way. The leather went in without too much hassle and has made a massive difference. Mucho comfiness  All in well chuffed, first mk3 vr estate in the uk? :? Cheers for all the comments Gav

welcome, have a look round the forums or aby for the TT comps, budget for a set of tyres too, unlees youre lucky youll need to change the stock TT fitment tyres for some 205/40x17's. If youre after some M3 rear lights and can hang on for a couple of weeks we'll have a set up for sale soon. Get some pics up once youve collected it mate NIce one Gav

fitted alcons to my old s2, very good bit of kit but very track/racing orientated, no dust seals whatsoever. VERY VERY expensive, seperate bells and rotors. Never managed to get a good compromise with the varying stes of fast road pads i tried.Ended up selling them and changing them for porsche 996 monoblocks and used Hawk Mild track pads. Very good. Gav

Help, i'm tepmted to sell my corrado!!!
peanut replied to matt_corradovr6's topic in General Car Chat
snap, no truer a word spoken. i sold my g60 years agon and missed it. Bought a red vr, sold it,missed it, bought a blackberry vr, broke it missed it when i stopped driving it. Bought a dragon green vr, sold it missed it. Had a mk2 vr, missed the corrado so bought a burgundy pearl vr. Had to sell that to fund house ove, deposit etc. Bought the dragon green one back to break as it was rotten, loved it and made me miss wedge (burgundy pearl) loads. In hindsight that has been my favourite car to date and wish i was in a position to buy it back and finish what i started with him. Gav -
Very nice, dragon greens really grown on me since we bought ours. That tailgate you asked M15 VW about is fine by the way, no rot or dings. You dont fancy some porsche cup reps to go with it do you?
-
how about 205/40's? yes it is true the vr is wider track front and rear. Gav
-
i think i just had a sex weeeeeeeeeee...............

remember seeing this on clarksons motorworld a few years back, if i remember rightly ferrari did end up buying for their museum Gav
-
out of interest where was that pic taken? Thats definitely Burgundy pearl same as my old vr. Got a feeling that is 2cc's valver parked next to M15 VW's vr at inters this year but might be wrong Gav
