I normally hate those wheels on a c, but today, they seem just right. Very clean looking rado, and with only 66k, i bet shes a minter!

http://www.the-corrado.net/wiki/index.p ... _Checklist Buyers guide! Sounds like a good un to me, but i know not very much. If its been owned by a mechanic for 8 years, then its likely to have been looked after. The fact he has had it for 8 years, also says alot of positives in my mind at least. Its not really that high mileage.... You will get trouble with any car tho, and they are reasonably expensive to fix, but im sure you could twist the mechanics arm who owns it now, hed be happy to help you fix it should it go wrong. A rado never fully leaves your system...

Seems a little bizarre, but people will travel a fair distance for what they believe is 'the right car'. Of course you do just get people with no idea!! I have a mate, who sold a white BMW 318 (looked nice - with the 328 kit or whatever) on autotrader. A guy from ireland phoned up, asked if he still had it, to which the reply was yes. That was literally all he asked. He just told Ross that he'd be there about 6 pm the next day, and left it at that. Sure enough he turned up, took a quick look around the car, not even under the bonnet or arches or anything, said, there ya go mate. Gave him 3k in notes, and drove off, and that was that.

Im 21 , with 2 years NCB, driving a standard G60. Im with elephant, and pay around £550 - £600 Fully comp. (i cant remember)

Ooo...tis a bad pic... The leather is pretty much smack on the same black, and the knob isnt screwed down in the pic.

Keeping up with my trend of DIY mods, ive knocked this up recently. Used the existing plastic base from an extra gaitor i had kicking around, removed the leather, bit of fibreglass, bit of glue, and some leather, and then click it back in place. The standard corrado 'knob' also fits perfectly into the rubber TT gaitor once screwed down.

A guy posted up pics of this on another forum i frequent. I thought it was absolutely gorgeous. 406 with Audi A4 lights, and S2000 rear lights. mmm...

Thank you all very much. I had tried that, but was scared incase i damaged it. Managed to pop it off with a wedge of wood, and taps from the hammer that way.

Im transferring it to another engine, of which a toothed cog is already attached. Does this mean i can simply 'hit' or 'gently persuade' the outer, larger pulley off?

Its driving me mad! I took off the bolts in the middle, but cant undo the middle bolt, and im not sure i have to. PLease help, im gonna go insane!

And is it held in place by the screw ive pictured next to it? I misplaced it, and forget to note where it went...

Trying to re-align my clutch. Ive bought a clucth alignment tool, and have used it, in what i think is the correct way, but just wanted to double check before i put it all back together. The idea is to get these two bits lined up perfectly...correct? so it looks like this...?

Looks pretty good for a body kit!! Are you at your 500whp aim then, if you say it'll be finished tonight...?

Have you put the 18's on the porsche yet Jay? Good luck in your new venture. The old one was phenominal, so it will be interesting to see what you do to a new one. -

I bet you wanna buy your old one back!! I was looking forward to seeing a major porker project, but needs must by the sound of things. -
Yep, but oil pump no longer an issue. :D

i believe the QPENG wiring loom instantly bumps your bhp to around 270 from the 225 BAM tt engine. I know you can get 180 and 210 brake versions of the 1.8t, but dont know if the QPENG pumps them up to 270 aswell, or just the equivalent (50ish bhp)
