Calling all Corrado Drivers That are Good with a Camera
Nick replied to CraiG60's topic in General Car Chat
http://www.dubmodder.com Does all the work for you! ;) -
Mine, if money was no object.
-
The glass is just held in with a few clips. Use a screwdriver to unclip them, it doesnt do any damage.
-
If your cars not lowered id have thought they'd fit. Im not positive tho. And youd probably be left with a nice 4x4 ride height.
-
I hope socks is the only thing you werent wearing, or are you one of those ebay reflection flashers...?! Looks like a good project, keep us updated with the build process!!

Ok, a few to catch up on!! Thanks to... ChrisP for the headlights. Took a while coming (explained) and slightly more cracked than described, but did the job anyway! RapidVII For the sunvisors. Arrived well packaged. and finally andycowuk for my engine. Havent got it up and running yet, but looks in excellent condition. Gave me all the info i needed and more. Very well packaged, and arrived safetly. He even had to drive out of his way, due to wrong information given by me about the depot. Much appreciated everybody, helping one another is what its all about! :thumbleft:

My 91 G was diagnosed (back in january  ) with having low oil pressure in me bottom end, i have been trying to look after it, but a couple of weekends ago, i was just about home, when the car almost died, for no apparant reason. I pulled up, tried to re-start, but all i was greeted with with LOADS of bluey smoke. It wouldnt start, so i tried again, and received the same. So i managed to bump start it, and it crawled the few 100 yards to my house, where it has sat. I *assumed* this to be the headgasket, meaning my head, and bottom end have gone. I have a replacement engine arriving today, and i have just started it up (first time) with no smoke and perfect idle. There is no mayo around the cap. Any suggestions?

I saw one on the bay the other day 'first owned by prince philip' or someone from the royal family. Is that likely to help?! lol.
-
Are these just pictures taken by you and other 'employees' or have you had something to do with all the cars pictured? The 'red ones' engine bay is the most mental thing ive ever seen.

Sorry to hear about your crash kongo127, hope youre all ok. It looks like a nice car youve got your hands on, even if not all to your taste! Being a rare model, i think it would be a shame to modify it (even tho the other owner clearly has!) I see you with two options: 1) Restore this car to its original beautiful stock self. Perhaps respray in original colour? Or 2)Sell this one as a 'rare model' and buy another which you would be happy modifing, or import one (i have no idea what this would cost! lol) Personally, id prefer to mod something that wasnt quite as rare. If you did restore this one, in 20 years time, there might only be 1 left in the world....

A good 500 miles to run it in. What garage did you use. What kind of corrado is it? Assuming a G60, what did your rado come with? Leather, alloys, history etc. What is the condition of the paint, and engine etc etc.
-
Nope, its from on here...
-
Ive never seen that. I think it looks really good.
-
What are you doing to the corrado...?! Ive never seen anybody lift the car from the engine like that, i thought it would have been easier to reomve the front, or lift the engine! Good work tho.
-
Thats a fairly accurate description actually!!
-
Cheers TomD, It should do nicely. :)

Finally, after over a very stressful hour on the phone ive found a courier service that will transport from Scotland to Somerset at a very good price. Interlink - 01786479952 is the number i phoned, but answered as palletline. £42 + Vat for economy delivery, 2-3 days. £52 + Vat for next day delivery. *edit - g60greeny, Ive bought the main parts of AndyCowUK's engine - I dont need clutch/box etc so ive got it a very good price. *
-
Im so ashamed.... :( But its my mode of transport for a while, until the C's back on the road. 1392cc "L" model (ooo!) Ford - Officially the biggest pile of poo ever, at least the escort. Im considering changing the escort to read 'sorted' or just driving it off a cliff...
-
Thats the killer, and would be a last resort.
-
Edinbrough to Somerset....perhaps as a last resort!
