  1. I have a mate who used to work for rover, who said it takes literally a matter of minutes to program a key. If they're going to charge you £110, and you have no choice, ask what the mechanic rate per hour is, and then say you'll pay on the condition that you watch the whole process. THIEVES!!

  Your welcome to drive to mine and we can trial fit them....?! Otherwise youll have to wait.
  3. http://dsp.fr.st.free.fr/en/main.htm I was always interested to learn more about the silver convertable corrado. Not the few made by vw, but the aftermarket one. Prob some will know, but i didnt it was made by DSP, who have also created some other crazy dubs, including a gull winged mk2 golf. The website gives a few more pics than ive seen of it, so thought id share the wealth.

Cheers guys. When I make up the second light, I'll try and do a 'how-to', so you can see what ive chopped and what i havent. I'll look into the angel eye clear lenses today, unless anybody has any lying around...?! Furk'z i hadnt really thought of that. As its original corrado wiring, its corrado bulbs, so will be running off the uprated wiring loom, but HID would be nice...
  5. I love you... I know the clutch is the other side, but they rotate together.
  6. LOL at Mav3 and Jim. I saw him hit fishykellar, it was another time, not that i could show you now anyway...lol.
  7. Im not a fan of anybody in particular, but at one point i thought Schumacher actually went to clip the back of someone intentionally after he was overtaken. The commentater said he thought he suffered from some understeer, but i wasnt so sure...nothing came of it tho. He is without doubt one of, if not the best, but he does have a slight reputation for things like that, so i was wondering if anybody else picked up on that? Takes nothing away from Jensens drive tho.

hmmm...interesting to learn. I need to do my other one first...and then put the car back together! Thanks for all your kind (so far) comments!!
  9. Ok, oil pump now no longer a problem. I still need to get this wheel/cog off though. Ive noticed, that its attached to the clutch the other side...how do i remove it all? Ive had a look in the wiki, and no luck, and the search didnt really help me much. :/

They arent all lined up perfectly yet, but i can adjust that to a certain degree (much like regular lights). If they still dont line up, then theres a bit more room i can use (need a little trimming again i would expect) in the housing.
  11. The fight for 2nd and 3rd place involving Schumacher just before he pulled up was awesome. The best bit of F1 ive seen for a while. But yes, congrats to Jenson.

Since the very first time i saw the 'famous' A4 Rado lights, i knew i had to have them. I researched and found the page with instructions, but that involved making a whole new casing for the lights...and i was buggered if i was gonna do that! So, A4 lights DO fit into rado headlight casing. But with ALOT (i mean alot) of trimming. What do you think? Ive only done one, but the other is getting there. Unfortunately my corrados in pieces, so i cannot try them out, but i have used the original corrado wiring, and then when my cars in a more complete state, i will cut the existing indicator wire, and splice a second wire in there, run it under the wheel arch lining, into the bay, and into the back of the headlight, so i have an indicator in the headlight too. Without wanting to toot my own trumpet, i think its very clever, and am absolutely 100% pleased with them myself. Any comments, suggestions are welcome, but be kind as theyve taken me a while... 8)
  13. I really need some help. My Cars a 1991 G60 I bought a new oil pump for my rado months ago, and am trying to fit it now. The only problem is i cant find anything in the entire engine bay that looks like the part I have. Either Im really stupid, or i have the wrong part! (ordered from GSF). Im happy with either answer. Heres what i have: My second question, is how the hell do I remove this wheel/cog?! lol. I keep going round and round in circles...literally!! Any help much appreciated. Nick

  15. Feck! Thats all i could see it was for about 5 minutes!! lol. Is anyone close yet? If it needs VR6 running gear, then something crazy is afoot. Any more clues...?!
  16. nope. I had the same with peugeot, but then thats almost expected. Is it really the engine? Madness.
  17. perhaps some top gear style stone flagging?
  18. Tis a big improvement! Id love to know EXACTLY what you have planned for it, but then that would ruin the fun of watching it progress.
  19. Surely its for all round improved handling? I expect its probably only cheap tat anyway... Jay, get some pics up!! You havent done anything to it for a few days, and i want an update !! *stamps feet*
  20. An extreme weight saving method. Or Lambo Air vent things that pop out once you hit 200mph?
  21. Can we see pics of them on your new car please Jay...?

    Whats this?

This may be slightly difficult, as the engine is about 6ft from the car... Will a garage be able to sort the timing out easy enough? Or is something i could do with 'timing gun'?
  23. Nick

    Whats this?

I need to know what it is, what it does, how i can remove it, and how do i put it back on again? My cars a 1991 G60. Cheers, Nick
