I heard about these guys a little while ago and put their website on my favourites and have been checking on it every now and again, but the sites always been under construction so assumed they were still getting up and running. Pleased to hear its good value too, might look them up next time i need something doing. :D

I looked into it a few months ago, but i personally couldnt find anyone who had done this convesion. So there wasnt a great deal of information. Stan(something) (sorry, cant remember off top of my head) has just had a company put in his 4motion for around £3k mark i think. Try and find him in the members gallery and have a look through and find the name of the company. I always wondered what a red c with borbets would look like, now i know! Looks pretty good. I would normally say remove the bump strips, but it breaks it up nicely in this instance i think. :D

Im going to be upgrading my front brakes this week, and want to get them ordered asap. Ive got a few options and was after a few personal opinions on them from experience or whatever. Options in my price range are: Tarox G88 discs with fast road pads. Brembo sport kit ( as reccomended by Storm2 ) Red Dot 40 groove discs with fast road pads Black Diamond Combi with pads. I prefer a gradual feel over grabby. :norty: Also, could someone explain the difference in braking effects between drilled and grooved? nick

Ive found a momo millenium steering wheel. Doesnt come with a boss, but i dont know what car the wheel was attached to in the first place. If i buy the corrado hub, will it all fit? Or are there specific wheels for cars too? nick

Dropped off my car this morning, and i was actually nervous about phoning up the garage later on, 'coz with me and cars its never as simple/cheap as it should be.... So after they replaced the rear discs and pads the problems were... cv gauge(?) gone (£10 bit o' rubber) 2 x handbrake cables (i dont have two handbrakes - but delivered tomorrow) my lights & sidelights are a bit dim (like me) and my CO level is high (running a bit rich - theyre gonna solve) So not as bad as I expected, which has cheered me up. Can get it booked into the bodyshop now. :D This is our first MOT together (awww!) and things have been making noises and falling off left, right and centre, so im absolutely stoked that these were the only problems. :thumbleft:

Just looked at pics of your car and it is nice, so would be a shame. But Im sure you get a fair bit for the engine, and other parts. For example, id be interested in your rear lights ;)

Ive just had a look at the brakes page on the website and theres no info there? Im really after a price.

You can pick up a set on the bay for hardly anything. And the paints only a tenner too. If it looks good, you'll have that satisfaction of knowing you did it. If they look 5hit then you havent wasted loads of dosh.

I have the all red rear lights - tinted with the savage paint, which i did myself. I bought a second set of lights and tinted those for fear of cocking up my original ones. I didnt put any paint on the reverse lights which i believe is fine. I have green indicator bulbs which make the indicator look orange too. I havent had any issues with the fuzz, but if i do, i can change them easily. Id like some FK's, but money is always an issue, and i thought/hoped this was an un-chavvy thing to do, and looks slightly different without spending an arm and a leg.

Its literally only that light, all the others work fine.

My Drivers side rear driving light wont work. All the other lights and bulbs work fine though. Ive replaced the bulb, twice. And even replaced the bulb holder unit, but it still wont work. I then plugged the light connector from the other side to the faulty one and it worked. Any ideas?

I was driving through Yeovil on saturday night, and saw a green G60. Came up behind you, and then you flashed your hazards...I later realised i didnt have my lights on.... :oops: Then i got a flash and a wave on the way home on the A30 towards sherborne by a decked Jetta.
