Cheers, I think I'm finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel now :D But will you arrive at t' tunnel end before 19th? [VRT RR day @ Stealth - hopefully] The grey C - the one near the main gate @ Elsecar?
-
The grey C with bonnet louvres looks quite businesslike. Has it been improved under the skin also?
-
Neat! Short runner gives you plenty of space for the lpg bits.
-
Sorry OV - no P/N [it's worn off!] but I can tell you mine is 1370mm long and I believe it's the standard 7 rib belt for C's with aircon.
-
Forgive my ignorance Joni - but what's the advantage of the Brembos over Boxster S fronts?
-
Not sure about the z-eng configuration but my V9 uses the "with aircon" C belt without the standard tensioner in place. I'll measure my spare tomorrow and get its ref No.
-
Will nevertheless be interesting to see the difference! Is there a table of notable lap times somewhere on the web - anyone? I heard once that Niki Lauda held the title - is that still valid or old hat?
-
Loved it when we went a couple of years ago on the forum trip for the 20th Birthday celebration, would definitely be up for going again as would quite a few judging by this thread. Loving the pics and videos mate, can't wait to see some more. Mmh! 24v VRT with some decent stoppers should get down to 8 mins??? When's the dryest reasonably warm month at Nurburg?
-
Mine stays reasonably dry using suction config below, tucked behind the arch liner, bumper and bumper tray: PB161253.JPG[/attachment:2v4xaxkm]

OMG! Just think what the bill might be if someone was hurt. A salutory example for those who risk it without Ring cover. [No names no pack-drill!]

What would you buy... - THE HOUSE! (but w. criteria...)

Whilst the house might be the sensible option, have you considered that if you do delay the 996T for 15 yrs it'll seem a little slow by then, albeit a little cheaper? -

Why not compromise slightly: Corrado VRT + small cottage [with double garage of course!] Vince's stage 2 sounds like a GT2/3 beater! :norty: -
Bloody Hell Pete - you haven't turboed it have you?!
-
Doh! Binned 2 old sets last year, complete with Corrado badges - didn't care for the agricultural look. :gag:
-
Obviously can't manipulate the knob properly! :censored:
-
Holy Sh*!* That V10 is one hell of a lump
-
Jehsus! Those pots are as big as dustbins!
-
Just had FE for breakfast - a proper one with black pudding, smokey bacon and fried bread. :D [Can't stand hash browns. :pukeright: ]
-
Some gallery that! Where's the turbo museum? New F1 formula certainly something to look forward to. Do IRC that it was BMW who held the title for highest specific bhp from an F1 engine?
-
Agree both the foregoing. Enjoy!

Be good to see this in the flesh! Harewood? -
See, maybe I'm just being a little silly, but I keep thinking if I'm going to be spending around £700 on the coilovers, I'd rather stretch the extra £400-500 and get the KW V3s.... Anyone want to reinforce my "logic" or otherwise? Like Jim I've heard the praises of V1's as well as the V3's. Do you really need/want the damping adjustability of the V3's?
-
Will you be bringin her up to Harewood then Joni?
-
Like the idea of inverted oil cooler - to promote proper draining on oil change. But is there risk of long term air trapping in the cooler, or does the oil drive it all out?
-
i've wanted one of those for years!!! with voice recognition so you could just rant for miles at the person behind you! Hehe - yes that would be cool 8) signbot.gif[/attachment:2n7vstet] Didn't the guys have one in a caravan on Top Gear?
