Looking forward to having mine set up on wed morning. Would be interesting to see what she is pushing bhp wise. Shame I didnt get it done before I sent the charger away
-
Woohoo. Charger will be back in the next couple of days. Booked into RK to have the SNS chip put in and get her set up on the RR on Wed. Many thanks to Darren @ http://www.g-werks.com for doing the work and making my day by telling me the charger was in very good nick. Will get the door handles on and the splitter sorted in time for the next meet with any luck. Might even have time to put the new sunroof in and change over the new trim. :D

I am at about 75mm on 17's with no problems. Bit of a ride sacrifice for looks though 8)

I am sure we will be hearing the dulcet tones of a VR coming from Truro soon enough

Looking good and welcome. You seem to have a working sunroof. One up on most of us.

9 months and still spending. Although credit to her the only thing that has actualy gone wrong is the wiper motor packed up. Knowing my luck after posting this she wont start the next time I get in her

Ask those kinda questions and this could go on for a very long time. Revolving number plates for evading the long arm would be my favorite :D

That's normally the button you press to stop things breaking. ;) Bugger I bought an earlyy model and didny get one of those. Explains alot

Can usually get mine looking spot on.................................................................... for about 20mins before I hit something
-
Just keep taking mine off, Glass fibering it, Filling then spraying about every 3 months as I know I am just going to kill it again!!
-
Seen that one before. Is a fantastic job.

The G60 cooler seems to do the job but in practice was a pretty poor peice of design by VW. Almost an after thought. Where it is placed is nigh on usless and most G60 owners try if they can to replace it with a FMIC that gets an airflow.

FK highsports were a budget option for me as my standard shocks were fubar. However I am really happy with the ride even running 17s. Can recommend them for those with rapidly emptying corrado funds "CC" or GF

I know. Kinda odd. Jezza did say it was pulling really well for a standard charger on 60tho. So will be interested to see what darren says. HAs it been played with already or not. Dont ya just love cars with little service history
-
The man reads minds. Jabba have said that they didnt do BRM's chargers , They were done in house. I am guessing that although I have a recipt for a new charger 60.000 miles ago. The garage that did the work have fitted a recon from BRM and charged the owner for a new one. £1500 plus vat. OUCH
-
Just phoned brm who couldnt really help. They said that it probably just had an overhaul. As they stopped doing porting a few years ago. So who knows
-
Looks like mine has prob already been done at some point then although the only paperwork I have about the charger is when it was new. MMhh see what darren says when he gets it.
-
Just taken the charger out of my c to send to darren at G-werks and noticed that there is BRM marked on it and a code. This is by a security seal. Has been done by hand. Anyone know what it means?

8 all together at the Jamaica inn in cornwall. -
I want to do this mod as the c is off the road from next week. Was going to fit the rear passat ones but this sounds like a good option. Have you got any pictures?
