  1. I didnt recognise the user name as someone on here. So maybe it wasnt. Have just tried to change mine to match the one on here but some bugger already has it. Would be good if we could be all gentleman like and pm the other person if they were on here to see how bad they really needed the part / bit. I guess the person today might really need it where as I just wanted it to get it ported a bit.So in an ideal world I could of just dropped him/her a pm and saved them a couple of Quid
  2. Kinda what I though. i typed in what I was willing to pay then left e bay to it. Probably means that the person who won it paid more than they would have liked to as well.    But what can you do.
  3. Got outbid on a G60 throttle body today. Bet it was somebody from on here
  4. Fitted a pair of 6 by 9's in the rear shelf. Thats it today
  5. Well the suns out so thought I would give her a days lovin. Got some of the meguirs ( might be spelt wrong ) gold class polish and leather treater that everone loves on here and got to work. Fitted the refurbed splitter at the same time and rubbed down all the rust I could see under her and painted with hammerite. The polish is great and even though she really needs a new coat of paint came up really well 8)
  6. Cleaned inside and out. Even did the door shuts and round the inside of the boot  Fitted repaired splitter back on and finished off with giving the cow some polish and the paint some as well. Lovin the Meguires( spelling could be wrong ) gold class stuff 8)
  7. Not too sure how long it will last but am going to try to avoid anywhere i might catch her from now on. He drilled with small bit a few holes around the cracks to get fibreglass to bond and then filled both corners with filler. rubbed it down and has given it 3 coats of paint in a matt finish. He also ran some thin metal strips around the corners. Does mean it is now ridgid though. But still flexes in the middle.
  8. You know you want too :D Missing the empty bank account at the end of every month
  9. Got the front spliiter back from me mate with a body shop today and is looking good. It was about to split right through at both corners when I gave it too him and is looking better than new now. Both corners reinforced and sprayed in matt black to try to match the original finish. Did try to get him to offer a service for forum members as it really does look as new for £40 but cant write in polite company what his reply was. Think it might have been a bit of a hassle to do
  10. Come off the A30 at chiverton roundabout at the 3rd exit sign posted St Agnes then head down the road for about 3 milesish till you see a garage on your right hand side, take the right directly after it.Head down that road for about a mile till the next right. This has a large house right on the corner and the road almoast comes back on itself. Head along here slowley till you see a gravel road on your right. They are about 20 mtrs up that. Think this is right but Am sure Walesy will be able to give better directions than me

  21. That is a ball joint and normally just pops on and off. Holds itself inplace. I think you will have to replace the central bit that the ball fits into. Might be wrong but am sure someone will be along in a mo.
