If you are not too bothered about havin genuine parts then Volkspares do a replacement motor for about £40 if I remember rightly :D

Have had a look on the search and am getting 2 diffrent takes on these. Some say that the PAS pump on a G60 is car specific and some are saying that they have fitted them from other models even makes. Could someone clarify this for me, as I might have :oops: broken one of the bolt holes off mine when changing the belt. So it is in danger of falling off. Dont really want to spend £300 at the dealers either. :mad: Help. Cheers Tim

After destroying my factory plastic door pins whilst changing my handles I am after some replacements. Poss some nice chrome numbers 8) What would you suggest and where is the best place to get them from? Cheers tim

Wasnt too sure what to expect. Was hoping for over the standard 160bhp but knew the engine was old. So 180 is a result, Not to mention it had great boost and was running sweet apart from the timing being a bit out. So might be a bit more there yet. Too be honest I dont really need any more. Would like her to be about 200ish. Anything higher = serious money :crazyeyes:

Hi guys, I have finally done 250miles on the rebuilt charger and the boys at http://www.rk-engineering.co.uk have kindly sqeezed me in tommorow to put her on the RR. I have asked them to take out the CC as have been told that after 150thou miles it will be nigh on obsolete and leaves a nice big hole for some induction pipe. Plus tidies up the engine bay. Having never had a car that would benifit from being set up on a RR before what should I be asking / getting done. All the info is in my sig. 8) cheers Tim

Handles are on at last. Was getting a bit fecked off with havin to climb in the boot. :oops: Shame the paint job I did on them has been totally mullered by them rattling around in the boot for the last 2 weeks. :mad: But on the bright side have working door handle goodness :lol: And the local KFC opened yesterday. I paid what I now think was over the odds for my G60. Twice what I spent on the car later I am still spending. True some of it really wasnt needed. But that comes with the territory. I think you are baisically wanting to pay no more than the value of the shell as with 250tho on her if there isnt a book of recipts the size of the yellow pages you'll have some money to spend. And I never spent anywhere near 3K :roll:

Well handles arnt on. But charger back on and PAS sorted out. Jezza fitted the chip for me and she runs better than ever. Have to keep resisting the temtation to rag her for the time being though :D 500 miles and will get her set up on the RR. So much to do and now time :(
