Hi, Has anyone got any experience of this product? It looks like the holy grail of sound proofing to me. Well from what I can see it's not too bad as I was going fairly slow, and I was glad I hadn't knocked over a line of hells angels motorcycles, like you see in the films, but the bumper has needed a bit of work since I bought the car, so this may force me along to see a body shop and get it all sorted. White rados look dreadful with scuffs and bumps!

I was confronted by a fook off lorry in Weybridge station car park today, as were a bunch of other cars. We all reversed, but me with my low slung driving position and seasonal fogged up rear screen didnt see that I was reversing into a bollard - ouch! Nedless to say, I let out a loud exclamation of frustration with myself, for both the damage, and for being a crap reverser. I am fine in my golf, but have no ability whatsoever in my Corrado. One of these days I'll be as good as my dad at reversing, and then I'll be a real man!

That's Corrado ownership, but if we didn't have anything to do we wouldn't have the opportunity to look forward to the satisfaction of getting it done :) Your skills and attention to detail amaze and embarass me. I'd love to be able to work some of your ideas into my car but I don't have the skill. Keep pushing on matey - it's better to have the task ahead of you and be equal to it like you are, than to be like me and unable to take it on at all. And just think of how great it will be when it's finished! Mark

Corrado in the Car wash (NSFW) I wouldn't normally post something like this on the Corrado forum, so apologies if it offends anyone, but this beats the Polish gentlemen at my Tesco!

The smile it brings to my face - especially as I chuck it into a corner, or the sound as I blast through a tunnel or down a concrete sided slip road. My 4motion golf is a terrific car, but when the weather is good, it's the rado keys I reach for, always. Mine has loads of rattles and thumps, but if I didn't have those to fix, I wouldn't be able to look forward to doing them. The opportunity to make the car better is rewarding. When I have no work to do I get excited about being able to polish her, fiddle with door cards or just have a fiddle. I don't get that way about the mk4 as much.

Woohoo - another white rado - congrats. Wait till you go past a shop window and see yourself in it - it's brilliant. I love that mine is white, but agree that black trim helps break up the car and define the lines. However, I think the front splitter makes the car look lower in white - which can only be a good thing surely. Are you alpine white or candy white? I'm Candy white. Mark

Yes - original reflector, no fancy shenanigans. All that was changed was the loom - I've had the bulbs in for 2 years :), so the whiteness can only be due to the extra voltage I think.

Well because I am all thumbs, Tim at the Phirm put this in for me. What a difference - so bright my camera can't handle it. I had put the fogs on for comparison purposes but now they all look equally bright. Notice how white they are, even dipped. Lush! Hi Guys, I know it's not the sort of car that we go for on here, but I've always liked something about the Phaeton - the fact that it tried to outdo Audi etc, is incredibly luxurious, and that some had the W12 engine. Although I've only ever driven small cars, I could make an excption for one of these - especially as you can lower it using VAG.com (apparently it has electronically controlled ride height), and whack some big LMs on it. Mind you - the stock wheels aren't bad! Hi Karl, The posty delivered the loom today and I must say it looks excellent - really well made, and does indeed have my OEM connectors attached. I can't wait to try and fit it to my car. I second that - superb photo, and a lovely gesture - my Missus commented that it's typical that despite all the cards we've received, it's a Corrado that has pride of place on our shelf :)

I managed to get two of the OEM plugs from ARZ tuning: http://www.arz-tuning.de/shop/advanced_ ... &x=67&y=10 They haven't been delivered yet, but those of you who are after the plugs like me might want to give them a try
