  1. Would love to put bucket seats in my Rado but i have enough trouble getting out of the car as it is
  2. Ahhhh....Alpine White.....absolutely blinding when polished on a sunny day.
  3. You seem to be so lost in that cheese and ham sandwich that you've forgotten all about the wheel arch liner you were going to sell me  Love cheese and ham combo sandwiches but i have to go steady on the cheese or else i end up with a nasty migrane :pale:
  4. The centre diameter you refer to is known as the centre bore. Most aftermarket wheels have a very large centre bore which can be reduced by fitting the correct size spigot rings. If your wheels have spigot rings fitted then you need to source the correct size rings for your vehicle. If there are no spigot rings fitted and the centre bore is too small to fit your car then the wheels you have are never going to fit your car.
  5. That's a unique bit of kit........what made you pick a Rado shell? ...and i won't be posting any negative comments....i'm getting sick of reading them.
  6. Let me put things this way. I live in Devon where there is lots of twisty lanes (obviously). Now which car out of a 200sx and a Corrado do i feel more confident (personally) to go booting around those lanes in? Answer to that question is a Corrado. Are there any other rear wheel drive cars that i would do the same in? Answer to this question is yes but they are much wider and lower than a Corrado and have at least 100bhp more than a VR6.
  7. As an ex 200sx owner i'm going to shock you. Have to agree that the Corrado is a far superior car if applying power whilst cornering. The 200sx doesn't like you stamping on the peddle through the twisties and around roundabouts. I can tell you that through experience. In a straight line the S13 and s14(a) 200sx when running correctly at standard boost will just have the edge over a standard VR6. Now that's my opinion and i'm not generally a fan of font wheel drive at all.
  8. Looking at that forum ...yes i should have posted in there and not here....i'm use to another site where posting in the suppliers forum is only for asking suppliers and not the general community. My humble appologies Mr. VR6
  9. ok....so what did you want to say.....hmmmm....don't be shy One assumes one has posted in the incorrect forum
  10. Can anyone point me in the direction of a supplier that sells white dial kits for the early Corrado at a realistic price? I simply refuse to pay £35 for what are effectively three bits of glossy paper.
  11. Might be a daft question to some, but, is the little neon light in the headlight switch only supposed to light up on sidelights and not dipped beam?
  12. Garages charge around £500 including a skim for a 4 pot.
  13. I've edited my last post because i cocked it up due to being kerknackered....time for bed me thinks
  14. The first part number they quoted you 1HO 959 855 B is for the VW Golf years 1989 to 1999 and is not even a Corrado part As far as i am aware none of the switches are obsolete.
  15. What year is your Corrado? There appears to be two different colours of switch for the later models and two for the earlier models and the part number 1H0 959 855 B doesn't apply to any of them. later model switches are :- Part number 1HO 959 728 5YX is a beige coloured switch for models made from 8/92 to 7/95. Part number 1HO 959 728 H50 is a grey/blue coloured switch for models made from 8/92 to 7/95. and the earlier model switches are:- Part number 357 959 855 B is a unknown coloured (possibley grey or black) switch for models made from 9/88 to 7/92. Part number 357 959 855 01C is a satin black coloured switch for models made from 9/88 to 7/92.

    Questions

Check the condition of the reverse light switch on the gearbox.
  17. Power cables should be:- blue/white = Speed sensor feed brown/red = Ignition live black = +12v to aerial amplifier (switched feed from head unit) grey/blue = illumination feed (to turn on head unit illumination when the lights are switched on) red/white = permanent live brown = earth and the speaker cables are as per diagram :- Common reason for the ignition live not working is faulty ignition switch
  18. Took advantage of the great weather we've had down here today and changed the passenger window mechanism. It's not a job i'll be standing forward to volunteer for in a rush. Had quite a bit of trouble getting the top of the upright passed the glass and gubins. Anyways.....jobs a good 'un now....not much jobs left to do now.....one hopes.
  19. What can i say Stu ....the lights were going cheap so i snapped them up :) I wasn't sure whether to go for the clear or half clear ones to be honest.
  20. Hmmm....rather quiet here tonight.....or do i smell?
  21. It's been a few months since my return but today i decided to splash out on a new set of wheels and take some piccies. The car has not been washed for over a month and i still have some bodywork to sort, but then, it's often the case with these old girls. I flexed my wallet a bit and paid BK Racing a visit today.....what do y'all think?
  22. Seeing as they sit further out ...do you reckon they will rub the arches if the car is lowered?
  23. Does anyone now if a set of BMW BBS wheels from a BMW E30 will fit a Corrado ok? I know the wheel nut spacing is correct but the offset is different. BMW offset is 15 to 25 Corrado offset is 32 to 38 I'm not sure if the BMW wheels will rub on the struts or not.
  24. It's quite funny when i visit my local stealer....the young parts chap gets quite stroppy when i start telling him where to find things on Etka
