  2. im startin to think the rear plate surround is ok doesnt look as out of place with the matching wheels on an you will have to wait till ultimate dubs to see it fully hopefully i wont get laughed at!
  3. very nice 8) also reminded me that i need to give my pipe a polish before ultimate dubs!!
  4. i had them rolled at first but it still rubbed on big bumps so have had them pulled as well now, what needs doing depends on how low you want it

  6. looking good fella do i spy some new rims as well?? 8)
  7. the colour is anthricite matching the centres of my borbets there is also more bits done than ive not shown like the roof strips the front splitter (now50mm so the paint dont get scraped sraight off! ) an the towing eye covers an headlight covers just really dont know if it works think the rear plate surround is just too much an should of gone for matching the body colour i=on that ah well too late to change it now hopefully it will grow on me an it certainly is different!!
  8. right the car went in to get its rear bumper resprayed before goin on the stand at ultimate dubs so whilst it was there i decided to get some other bits painted and try to be a bit different i was gonna keep it a secret an let everyone see it for the first time at the show but ive just got the car back from the bodyshop an dont know if i even like what i have had done what do you think?????????????
  9. cheers for your replys, rac windscreens are doing it through my insurance asked for a sekurit one said its the first time he has heard anyone choose them over pilkington should be gettin it done mid week would have been earlier as said they had 3 rado screens in stock until recently sent them back as they had been in stock for ages
  10. seeing as its been nice today spent the afternoon cleaning the bay of the c including polishing the slam panal and the underside of the bonnet (my neighbours thought i was weird for just washing the car so much wonder what they reckon now!) anyways seeing as it was nice i took the car out for a drive afterwards an ended up gettin a proper crack in my windscreen from another car flicking a stone up!! i know there is two different makes of screen and one doesnt seal so well and from what i could gather from the search its the sekurit one i need id just like someone to confirm this before i get on the blower to my insurance tomorrow and specify i want that make of screen cheers neil.
  11. didnt take you long to get another stu an gooney is lookin good 8) have you seen this may be handy for you save you having to sell yours and find some d90s http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewto ... 14&t=65605

  15. looking good fella bet you will be scared to leave it anywhere now though
  16. found this review which has actually supposed to be for the corrado club but this blokes written a review on corrados wouldnt be that bad but mentions a 3.2 vr6 storm which does 0-60 in 3.8 to 4.2 seconds and can do 185mph now ive never heard of this an pretty sure it would have been mentioned on here if it did what i wanna know is where did he get the figures from? http://www.ciao.co.uk/VW_Corrado_Club_o ... ew_5704818
  17. yeah cheers fella i think thats who my loom came from in the first place i have pm'ed him asking if he could get a replacement relay but he aint replyed good luck gettin yours sorted btw
  18. sorry to hijack your thread but this has happened to mine any idea where i could get a new one?
  19. i agree with you an feel its a tough sturdy car even at speed more so than newer cars ive owned i know that some small bumps can get them written off but from what ive seen when in a pretty big smash they seem to hold up very well

  21. if you have no luck there try http://www.dubmeister.co.uk/ thats where i got mine from
  22. oops sorry for the mix up there, an yeah from what i have heard dav is the man when it comes to polishing i would have sent my borbets there but he was too busy at the time so i used bjv engineering they did a good job of mine and it was pretty cheap but took ages plus since then my dad has used them an ended up sending some rims back due to the finish on them but to be fair they did sort it all out for free
  23. ive just finished doing a set myself it is time consuming an dont think i would have done it if the alloys didnt have such a flat face, as because of this i got away with doing most of the sanding with a palm sander which saved my arms and a lot of time but it is rewarding when finished my thread on what i did and cleaning them up is here hope it helps http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=62116 and i think there on about dav at pureklas an BigTartanJudge has has already put a link up for you
  24. finally finished the wheels all polished up and laquered now just need to order some tyres then get them slapped on the car what do you think? i think they will look spot on when fitted to the car which is also sitting lower now as i fitted some lowering springs an shocks well to the front anyway as some muppet of ed 38 sent me one front spring an one rear for the rear struts so ive ended up fitting the corrados old coilovers on the back which are seized at about -80mm so its pretty low on the back!!
