congratulations fella -
little scroats! ive seen kids outside my house tryin to nick mine but there tightened on with a key ring thing is cant do owt to them as they will just run home screaming for pappa then next thing your cars vandalised! so i just shout at them not that it does much good, they have still stolen mine an my misses ariels though!!
-
you got it in the end then minus a few mods but at least this way you can make it to your own taste you got any plans for it? and is the plate stayin? neil.

i run avon zz3 in 205/40/16 on borbet a 9x16 and have found them to be good tyres in both wet and dry you do get a bit of tramlining but i expect it running wide wheels there not too much of an obscene stretch either
-
i dont think there as wide as 7x15 but i cant remember what they are, but im pretty sure there et35 and i needed 30mm a side as my arches have been rolled and beaten out to suit 9x16 wheels with et 15 hope this helps
-
been busy recently moving into my first house with my gf and due to this sold the mk2 i had as cant afford to run two cars but im enjoying being back in the c every day makes me appreciate it more :D anyways i kept the estorils i refurbished myself as im going to run them in winter but when i fitted them they looked lost as my arches have been modded to suit the borbets so i got some spacers 25mm a side for the front and 30mm a side for the rear it looks loads better now neil.
-
i tried some willwood 4 pot superlites with 310 discs but there was no way they were gonna fit the wheels would have needed at least 10mm spacers to get them on and they stick out far enough as it is! id just got my borbets at the time so i went for style over stopping power and sold the brakes on settled for some new g60 callipers in the end neil.

bit of a bummer about the bolts snapping wheels look great though did you polish the dishes yourself?
-
was nice meeting you too neil :) your car looked great and i was amused when standing near it that people didnt even notice what you had done to the front bumper it looked great in the metal 8)
-
looks good fella i reckon it will work better with the dash done though make the tan theme flow round the interior if ya know what i mean :cuckoo:
-
glad to hear you have got it on the road again neil looking forward to seeing it in the metal at vag oh and meeting you of course! :D
-
psi did the 1.8t conversion on my car and im very happy with it, as boost monkey said just give them a ring im sure they will be happy to discuss it with you and i know they have done a few 24v into corrado conversions already so they know what there doing neil.
-
looking good stu just gotta keep at it when polishing worth it in the end though id advise getting a polishing kit from the polishing shop and use the felt bits to get a real shine out of alloy once you have finished with the wet and dry then a final goin over with autosol, ive just used it to try bring the shine back out in mine as keeping them clean when there polished and unlaquered is a pain in the ass as the dish just collects water, good luck neil.
-
my names neil i just have a daft username! and i bought the mirrors already done off someone that was breaking there corrado, pretty sure they were plastic welded then skimmed over with filler to make them smooth
-
this ok for ya
-
sorry to tell ya but you will most probably need some paint as even when only rolling arches the paint normally cracks when the lip is rolled up
-
cars looking good fella 8)
