hi i picked this up a while a go as a cheap runner, it has a corrado forum sticker in the window so i was wondering if anyone knew the history of it. at some point it was looked after full s/s exhaust, g60 front brakes with braided lines. it has seen some hard times with the rot on the back panel and a knock up front. its now on coilovers new wheels on the way new wings and a fresh 12 month ticket on it. any help would be great thanks

yeah thanks for that, i have unplugged my cold start injector and it starts better in the morning and runs a lot nicer. the cold start set up id a very strange one not original vw it has volvo on it.

are the down pipe's on a g60 the same as a 16v? they look similar i need to replace my 16v one and i am breaking a g60 so you can see why i am asking. thanks for any advice.

i have have picked up an old corrado that i am trying to tidy up a bit, i have owned a vr and a valver before but this ones seems quite lazy when reving. it runs fine starts well but when reving in neutral and pulling through the gears it just does not seem as keen as the other valver i had. its had a good service so any idea what may cause this? thankyou adam

cheers lads, pretty sure its getting done this weekend now. i was just curious as you see all these smooth minimal bays and half time the pump is missing (maybe hidden) was just interested in its role but fully understand now cheers and yeah agree would defo pay to get it sorted!
-
how important is this  . i realise VW put it there for a reason but a mates has/feels like its stopped working. will he be fine for a while? what is its role as most cars make do with just the normal waterpump? thanks adam

i had a horrible week last week from not starting. in the end i changed several things and now seems sweet. 1. coil pack (dont think this needed doing due to number 2.) 2. changed ignition swith 3. changed fuel pump relay 4.changed fuel pump fuse. i did not do all these in one go i done one at a time car ran fine after each one then stopped again causing me to try the next item. been fine for a few days and drove faultless to ultimate dubs (400 mile round trip)

just changed it (good job i have a shed full of what i thought was usless stuff) had a new 67 in there fitted and fired first time! fingers crossed that might be it. cheers for all your help lads!!

hi my car did not start again this morning. the story... monday morning the car did not start it just turned over and over. i fitted a new coil pack and it started first time so thought i was on a winner. used it for a day fault less. it then stood for 2 days and started on the button last night, carried out my journey parked up went out this morning and again just turns over but did not fire. the other day i did check to see if there was fuel and there was (shown by the fact it started) any ideas welcome could it be a cam sensor or something??? thanks need to sort this asap as work is getting pee'd off with me calling in.
-
yeah touch wood it started first time. (think the frost we had this morning might have just finished it off.) gonna pull the old one right apart just to be nosey.[list=]
