i have this noise also same place, its driving me mad, i changed the manifold and gasket and still have it. engine only done 105k.

they were good looking wheels very different but 17x9 on the rear was just a pain.

hi i have had a few corrados now always strayed away but keep finding myself back in one. i would like and hope to say this one is for keeps. i brought it about 6 months ago pretty standard apart for a little drop on koni shocks and some porsche reps. i then had a mad moment and brought some 17x9 mazda speed wheels which were good looking but not what i was after, i want more subtle but still good looking. Now it was sat on some fk coilovers i thought only one timeless wheel for me on a corrado so D90 it was. engine wise i treated it to a 6 branch and a cat back system. bodywise just a good clean and removed the side strips. not sure what to do next as there is so many things. thanks for reading adam

could this be caused by the metal gasket not lining up with the ports on the manifold?

no mis match wires under there all the original plugs are being used with no home bodges off any other wires. silly i know but this is really bugging me now, as i still find myself looking in the mirror for it but it stays firmly down

no the stereo was the one that was originally in there, i will have a look see tho. critical_mass that is ok i would rather try and cover all possibilities. thanks chaps

if its running and i unplu it then the revs drop and it struggles to run so i presumed it was ok. whats the best way to clean one? thanks

i have had a quick search but cant find what i need. my spoiler still works on the button but not at speed, i have tired 3 different contol boxes now. are there any usual faults as the wiring seems fine and it just stopped working one day. thanks for any advice

it does it from cold to hot and fair point its only a cheap one thanks chaps may be i will leave it a little longer, as you say my first impression was it was blowing but its not. as annoying as it is, its nice to hear others have exsperienced this and does not sound like to much of an actual problem. i may try and take a video when it stops raining

just wondered if anyone has seen or heard something similar before. i have fitted a 6 branch to my vr and now get a ticking noise that sounds like it is actually coming from inside the manifold. i have covered it in soapy water when cold to see if it was cracked but no bubbles when i started it. i love the difference it has made but this noise is driving me mad. looking like i will have to remove it to look in side : (

thankyou, does this require larger pistons as well or just oversized rings? also can the standard management on a vr cope with the fueling or is this not really an issue? thanks for any help on this

i have a spare block and was just weighing up options of what to do i.e just completely refresh with standard parts or go for a bit more grunt. 3.0ltrs don't seem that common and was wondering if this is because they are hassle or so expensive to do for the reward. I am happy to stay n/a, i know a lot of you will probably say 24v but i do like the idea of something a little different and i am not great with wiring but am OK on my tools. sorry if this has been asked before i would just like your opinions and experiences as i have a few lists next to my computer and i just cant decide. many thanks

still after exhaust please

my car runs fine but on first start up only first one of the day i have to help it keep idle, i have changed the idle valve and blue temp sensor. i unplugged the stepper motor on the throttle body and it starts from cold fine. i ran a vag com scannerand got the fault code 00533 - idle speed regulation could any one shed some light on this please? thanks
