thanks. alot of people have different views on strech, people say its easy for the tyre to pop of etc but if this was the case why is it widely used in the drifting world where there is alot more pressure on the tyre. they use it as it gives more control mid drift due to less wall movement. i do not drive my car very hard, i dont do track days or anything, i regularly check my pressures, and i only use top make tyres. i dont think its an ott strech i have seen alot worse, (may be the picture is a bit misleading) its funny how you show it on one forum and not a sole from over 100 posts say it dangerous but you post somewhere else and ever other one says it is lol. is it actually against the law? are there any reported accidents that is due to strech. sorry for the rant!

cheers mate lol, well adaptors are ordered just waiting for them to arrive, 2 new tyres have been ordered, was gonna use the 4 from the steels but they are different size fonts and backs so waiting for those to arrive as well. think the car will be on 4 axle stands for a few days as the steels need to be posted before the adaptors will arive so.......... yes while its in the air finally i will remove those side skirts, think some laquer will come off but as its on the sill there is a nice line to mask up on and relaquer, also a couple of little maintence jobs that dont cost anything but just have not got round to doing. so all in all its getting there slowly!!

hi i am looking to replace my coilpack vr engine and i have found one thats a dizzy cap engine. can i just remove the distributor and the end plate and replace with mine so i can mount the coilpack and cam sensor? or are there other changes? thanks adam

just done a down n dirty stencil on the steels but looks like the steels wont be round for long as these are on their way!!!

must say i was worried but the nothelles were to skiny. the nothelles look better in pics than real life and the banded steels look better in real life than in the pics lol. whats next........ an exspensive christmas with the little one so not a lot. saying that i have replaced a fog light and fitted a rear bench with a hump so its a proper corrado again now lol

well there on the front needs to come down a touch but i need to cut the bump stop, and the rear even with the camber shims on needs the lip inside the arch kissing away slightly.

ah bollards thats not good. will have a look tmorrow. thanks for your help guys

no it does not do that at all need to drive it and get it well up to running temp, it does not missfire or run ruff at all thats why i was wondering if it was breathing heavy into the inlet???
